What happened to Crafted By Infinity's website?

Wink, will they be posting a catalog of diamond inventory we can look through and select from for those of us not in MN?

Yes. It is not as large as it will be. We are currently having more diamonds cut, with great results, but they are selling nearly as quickly as we are receiving them. Our local clientele are loving them. You can see what we have on the site here: https://www.continentaldiamond.com/designers/legacy/catalog/?sort=price_low&type=diamond

Since you are wanting to upsize your earrings, we may need to talk with you to have the right size, color and clarity polished just for you. (As always, subject to your final approval when you receive them.)

One question here, Wink~ Any policy for the report used for the Legacy, I found there are AGS / GCAL.

Hopefully I can answer that with a degree of accuracy: since AGSL is no more, SIC sellers are now working with GCAL to formulate a customized grading report, much in the same manner as they did with AGS.

Thanks:) I realised AGSL now become part of GIA, but didn’t go too much in detail. Didn’t visit PS quite often lately, but yup I think shall take a look at that thread~

Really curious how things will go and how vendors prioritise GIA report with former AGL light performance analysis and GCAL.

For those who have not seen the new dual cert (GIA/AGS Ideal reports), you can see one on this detail page of one of our first diamonds sold with the new reports.

Under the thumbnails are links to both the GIA grading report and the new AGS Ideal addendum report.

The AGS Ideal addendum report is digital only, in keeping with GIA's stated goal of making all grading reports digital only in the near future. I believe dossier reports will be digital only starting this year.

There will be a press release in the morning about Sarine purchasing a majority position in GCAL. I just started a thread about this, as I believe it will have a positive effect for consumers. You can visit the thread here: https://www.pricescope.com/communit...nouncement-concerning-sarine-and-gcal.276876/

Seems to be a major realignment taking place in the gem lab community; AGSL acquired by GIA, GCAL acquired by Sarine, and apparently IGI is also being shopped around.

Pretty much everyone in the entire industry is in the process of at least "challenging the status quo", if not completely reinventing themselves.

It's quite fascinating to watch. But also difficult for those of us in the industry to predict where it will all land and where we will fit in to the new paradigm.

Perhaps the new normal will simply be an accelerated pace of change in an industry that historically has been pretty stodgy, causing everyone become more nimble and better at adapting. Which should provide opportunities for innovation and more benefits for consumers.

Good morning @Texas Leaguer. I have been hoping you would come in to express an opinion about these exciting times. I imagine for many of our stodgier brethren these are quite terrifying times.

And yes, even for those of us who once ushered in the selling of diamonds on the internet, these are indeed times to be nimble. I think you have identified the core issue, where will it land and where will we fit?

I do not know where it will land, but I am betting that your company, and mine, will both find a way to fit so we can continue to offer new innovations and benefits for our clients.

Ohhh i live a few miles away! Will they have any on-site to see?

Anthony, I am sorry I missed this when it came in.

Yes, we have our entire inventory in house. You are welcome to come any time, no appointment necessary. You are welcome to call ahead if you like and arrange for one of our Legacy specialists to work with you.

I hope so @Wink. We are certainly no strangers to the challenges of adapting and finding our place in the industry, so our early trials should help us in this new, new age that we seem to be catapulting into!

Back in the day, because we were an online company, many brands did not want to embrace us. We could not even qualify for AGS membership until we opened a brick and mortar store.

But we kept at it, trying to uphold our reputation for product quality, customer care, education, and transparency. It eventually paid off and that, I think, is a basic blueprint that companies will need to follow going forward. Consumers generally reward those traits!

Well said!
