oh, I also got a Christmas tree! My old ones got killed by the great poop flood that was my basement this past summer. It's one of the "cashmere" trees. It has 3 different looks on the branches and it is the closest to real I've ever seen!


I usually don't care for uggs, but those are CUTE!!

Its a love/hate kinda thing with these boots, I think. People have stopped me to tell me they love them and then I get the occasional NASTY look from someone thats like, "WTF are you wearing on your feet, you jersey shore guidette!" hahahahah.

I bought these Uggs recently:

They are loud and over the top and I really love them. I actually didn't expect people to compliment them as much as they have. I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of people that stop to tell me they like them every time I wear them It makes me happy. I also bought them in black.

I also just got this Lululemon tote as one of my birthday gifts. Its puffy nylon fabric Its big enough to fit a lap top and books in it which will be awesome for nursing school.

AN, love the boots! Are they folded over or is that their height? Any pics of the black??!! I likey!

I had not.... there are some really cute shoes there. I am a thrasher though. I'm going thru a pair a year these days. I killed a pair of Kenneth Coles before this pair. I try to keep each pair under $100 so I don't feel as bad!!!

YES!!! Funny you asked! I convinced him to do it this weekend. He was worried about it "clogging" his pores but I assured him it wouldn't. I put it on him before I was heading back to PA and when I called him 3 hours later he said his face was oil free and he loved the powder. He said he wants to buy his own which means I'll have to buy him a brush That is an awesome gift to give to someone!!! Question: I use bobbi brown brick compact for bronzer so does the bronzer go on first and THEN the HD powder or the other way around?

Yes I paid a lot for clothes I work out and bum around in, but I figure the pants will keep me motived to stay in shape as they are very fitted.

I am a pear shape, and they totally make me look balanced, I don't know why, but I tried on SEVERAL pairs, and these are my favs. They also altered the hem for free .

BEG, winter things are so spendy aren't they? I bought a coat, boots and a Mad Bomber hat last year. I hated to spend the money, spent hours researching to get the best price, but the good part is, those things will last a looong time so it's money well spent at least!

April 20, books are never boring. As for black flats...I have wide feet (narrow in the back though...like a duck!) and tried everything from crap shoes to chanels. I love the layton flats from me too at Nordstroms. I believe the Me Too legend flat is the same, but the hardware is different. Nordstrom carries the layton one exclusively, I think. Last I saw, they were on sale for about $50. I just picked up the black, but I bought the silver at full price. They are comfy!

Ltl - those are super cute! I have similar yoga pants with the foldover from Victoria's Secret. Actually I buy a lot of my casual clothes from VS - enough that I've been upgraded to a VIP member I got my tights and daily leggings from there too. My body has pearish tendencies too

Cali - the tights I was wearing today were yoga tights - they're pretty thin. It was these - Link. They're super comfy and great for working out (and I do zumba as well as yoga in them and they don't soak through with sweat or anything).

I also got these - Link but haven't had a chance to wear them actually because the weather's been pretty good. They're not super thick though - I wouldn't wear them on their own if I was in a pedestrian/public transportation city like Chicago or NYC - I don't think they're thick enough. But if you have a car and you're really outside just in the parking lot, etc. then I think they'd be fine.

Packie - I totally agree. You get what you pay for. And I have two great Northface down jackets from when I was in Boston and Chicago and needed a really good warm jacket (ugh I HATE waiting for the bus/train/walking in the winter). I don't think I really need them here (it's colder but I drive), but neither of them are great for snowboarding! AND I had a Columbia winter jacket with the right fabric for snow sports but I gave it away when I left Chicago, thinking I wasn't going to need it! I saw the CUTEST white snow jacket at a sports store earlier - but $250! Northface Thankfully I can get kids' size snowpants for like $80 (I can't wear women's because I'm so short!), and I just bought gloves. I am SO excited to learn how to snowboard - I want it to snow already!

TGal - those flats are super cute! Are they comfy in the heel? I bought a pair of Cole Haan flats last summer but they just KILLED the back of my heel - soooo blistered.

Scuba trousers from Ann Taylor Loft. They look pretty much like wool trousers but feel like sweatpants. Got charcoal gray, NEED black. Mmmmmm, wearing sweatpants to work...

Also a roasting rack from Sur La Table that channels the turkey juices into a reservoir instead of all over the pan, so hopefully gravy-making will be less messy and much quicker this year. And an instant-read thermometer that flips out, and is purple.
