What have you bought yourself recently?

A couple of settings and a scattered diamond band, if the USPS doesn't lose it.

A lot of vintage silk scarves off of ebay. SO bought me a Liberty of London scarf that I had been stalking, too!

Gorgeous stuff ladies, you all have the most stunning taste!! I love the lead-up to winter because I love the hunt for new scarves/boots/coats. It's nearly summer here and it's going to be a hot one, so no winter woollies for me for a while!

AFM, I've been a bit naughty on the bling front and recently bought a 3ctw bracelet and some earring jackets for my 1.00ctw studs. Both are coming from the US so I have to wait, WAH!

calibali, I'm overcome with cuteness! That pup is ADORABLE!!

Calisun, I'm contemplating on grabbing one of the black wool suits form Ann Taylor this week as a matter of fact, as they have 30% off. Stil trying to decide if I'd get pants or a skirt suit. Leaning toward pants. I donated all my black suits. And I miss having a black suit. So elegant.

If I find a GOOD job for me, I'm going to indulge in my favorite shoe (I have the black leather) in a few colors (Especially if I catch them on sale like I did last time).. the purple suede and hopefully they will come out with a few other colors in the leather next season. I can wear my pair of these for 16 hours and STILL walk in them again in the morning. http://www.zappos.com/cole-haan-air-talia-mid-pump-dark-chocolate-leather

Dandi, you devil. BLING SHOPPING is ultimate shopping of course. Nice. Very nice.

BEG - I have a couple things from workout clothes from VS, but the stuff I have is not great at wicking moisture. Now that I live in warm weather, that has become a really big deal.

calibali - the puppy is sooooo cute  .

And there is so much other fun stuff on here, love Dandi's new jewelry of course, the vintage scarves Galateia got sound awesome, and I love Ann Taylor.

You guys bought some great stuff!

April 20, books are never boring. ;)) As for black flats...I have wide feet (narrow in the back though...like a duck!) and tried everything from crap shoes to chanels. I love the layton flats from me too at Nordstroms. I believe the Me Too legend flat is the same, but the hardware is different. Nordstrom carries the layton one exclusively, I think. Last I saw, they were on sale for about $50. I just picked up the black, but I bought the silver at full price. They are comfy!

Found them...they are much cuter ON.

and silver: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3032844?origin=keywordsearch&resultback=0

They have gold, red and navy too online, it seems.

Oh my gosh. Those are SO cute! I'm totally buying them. I've already got my Nordrom card out!!!

Thanks for the link!

Wow, there's some fun stuff in this thread!

Holly - I totally need to check my Target to see if they have anything on sale! They have some nice stuff - I love that cluster necklace!

calibali - OMG puppy! What a little doll!

Gypsy - fun idea for a thread! Speaking of buying things, how's your garland band project going?

As for me... weeeell. The only thing I've bought myself recently was a tube of the Incredible Spreadable Scrub from Origins. I'm addicted to Origins, especially since I'm allergic to most bath products. http://www.origins.com/product/3815...-Body-ScrubNow-in-a-mess-free-tube/index.tmpl

BEG-goh, I never thought to look for kids snowpants! Dangit-then I wouldn't have to roll mine up on the bottom. Hmph. I might have to get a new pair.

OOoooOoOOOoo... That's a fun thread!!!!!

I bought myself these 2 items...:

and

That's EXACTLY how I wanted to spend $3K!!!!

The only thing I've done for myself recently is get my hair relaxed which was very much needed  Now I just need to decide whether to do the Keratin or not :Up_to_something:

Black Friday will be my purchase for me day. We're getting a new TV in the bedroom and hopefully a new camera!

I bought myself five new shirts this weekend. Only two of them were on sale. I'm so proud of myself. ;(

Generally I don't pay full price for clothes. It's a silly waste of money. But I really couldn't pass up those other three shirts.

I also bought myself a truck last month.

We are getting ready to move so the money has been flying out the door! In the past week I've purchased:

1. New TiVo box for my craft studio.
2. About eight gallons of paint - never realized how expensive it was!
3. New duvet cover.
4. New towels for both bathrooms.
5. Washer and dryer (kick butt deal at Sears, saved more than 60% off list price).
6. Mattress, mattress pad, and sheets. Our previous mattress was only 4 years old but broke down and the company wouldn't stand behind the warrantee!
7. Work desk and various organizational "stuff" for the craft studio.
8. I'm sure I'm missing something else I can't remember right now...

I bought these in black to wear to Vegas last weekend. They are cute, but not the most comfortable.

I ordered this in black. Should be in the mail this week. I figured I could wear it to work and on the weekends with jeans.

I love that tee. I like shopping at madewell. I think they are the same store as JCREW?

I've been going a little crazy on boots lately. 3 pairs in 2 weeks......

My husband just shakes his head each time he walks in the door, and sees another pair. Our garage is filled with my shoes, I don't know how he even knows when I add another pair :cheeky:

Dear Jaysons Mom - It is apparent that you are overwhelmed with shoes. Please send the tall brown boots to my house. I will put them to good use, and appear very Gone With The Wind-esque in them. This will reduce the overwhelmed feeling I'm sure your household feels, and it will give me some fun boots.

KTHXBAI!

I may have, quite possibly, purchased this ring.

Those are my favorite too! They were not expenesive either (for Knee-high boots). I got them at Famous Footwear for about $80. Unfortunately, I'm not giving up any of my boots, there's a place and function for all 10+ pairs ;)

I made a little field trip out to Nordstrom today.... and came home with two pairs of shoes.

Exhibit A: the black flats TGal linked to. Oh my gosh, they are SO comfortable.

Exhibit B: (can't find a pic online and too lazy to get camera) The same pair in a fawn colored suede. SO nice.

Andi, I sooooo have the same pair of earrings to fill - think I'm going to go for rubellites to match my new Bob Kast rubellite.

Oh, I am glad they worked out for you! They are comfy, aren't they! And they just recently went on sale...they were full price forever (I was stalking them) so you did great! Glad they still had them at your store...mine sold out!!

So many gorgeous things! I am in a bit of a shopping freeze right now, though, so nothing much for this thread. I did treat myself to two expensive purchases:

- laser hair removal. I have a lot of body hair, very delicate skin and a serious reaction to wax. What else is a girl to do? I did negotiate a great price on the package, though.

- 3.3oz of silver. Ouch, ouch, ouch at the price. It is sitting on my bench and I am almost scared of using it because it was so much more expensive than usual.

Recent purchase/order was Sephora goodies, like Philosophy bath/body 3-in-1s, during the 20% off sale, plus face cream, etc. Today they sent me an email offering a sample bag if I spend $25 or more, which I plan to do! Yah. LOVE samples/GWPs :)

I kind of think I should treat myself b/c of the hell I went through over the summer, so I've continually been doing that every few weeks. Just little stuff, like the Sephora and also candles.

OOOH, big, fun was our new dining room table. It's not super fancy but fits nicely in the small space we have :)

I REALLY wanna get new sheets. That's on my list of house stuff. Found cute dark purple ones at a local store that I'm planning to get. The only down side to having a king size bed is the cost of all the linens! Taking my comforter in to be cleaned is also $. Bleh.

It's a 1.32ct J-K VS1 OMC. Unfortunately due to my schedule and Thanksgiving holiday I won't have it in my hands until December.

It's boot frenzy here too - found 2 different pairs of Ralph Lauren boots for $50 each! Usually, I wear boots with tights and a wool skirt in winter, but this year I wanted to try skinny jeans, so I bought a pair of jeggings at Target. They're not the juniors fit, but Mossimo Black, in the dark rinse, and I LOVE them! Since I'm over 40, I don't wear them skin-tight, and they're super-comfy. Bought some for each of my 3 daughters too - we're all hooked. Hopefully I'll still fit into them after Thanksgiving, lol.

At this moment, I am wearing my favorite Liberty of London scarf--the one my dear sister bought me 20 years ago when they were living in London! I hope you wear yours with as much joy as I do--they are marvellous!

cheers--Sharon

Fun thread!

I just bought today a B. Makowsky purse and a bottle of Essie Ballet Slippers! Went to Old Navy and got a pair of cargo pants, a tank top and two shirts that were all waaay marked down. Love ON!
