But back to the original topic...not all of us will have 3 ct. cocktail rings. I have a sapphire and diamond ring that could count as one but I think the center stone is around 2.5 cts.

Heck yes! That''s my hometown drink! Well, my adopted hometown.

Geeze, I can''t believe I came late to this party. How typical. I don''t have a cocktail dress or ring, but I have in my purse my new 3.19 ct cocktail stone!

Awesome thread, DS. Great info (I''m not going to lie, I''m pretty excited my stone will count as a cocktail ring when it''s set! Hahaha...and maybe a cluster. Maybe. It might need to grow up a little bit first.)

All this talk of coven, wiccan and witches reminds me of this whimsical drawing I saw while on vacation. There was a little saying under the picture...

The board has a history of lapsing into jokey offers of pie, drinks, etc. when things get strained, or when there''s a natural cross-connection, like, say, a drink reference in the name of the jewelry in question. P.S. - I *am* pagan, and while I think there''s a leetle bit of irony in your railing against a perceived slight against your affiliation while flinging mud at another, it''s not really an issue of usage so much as it is ... well, a funny bit of synechdoche, since it''s a small-scale version of what''s going on all through here. Ahhh, yes!! Thanks Princesss... couldn''t remember what it''s called... Storypeople! DH and I had seen them at the villa we stayed at in Mexico. The owners had their pool-side bathroom filled with these cute little pictures and sayings on the wall. We loved them so much I looked it up on the internet and found the website, but them forgot what it was called. Ok, sorry this is so off topic. Just one more...
