Ours in "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John. The title has become my nickname.

We had the best date on Thursday night...dinner at our favorite BYOB pizza place, then to a wine bar, then to another bar, and then sat on the patio talking for about an hour, and then danced in the living room for awhile, and of course one of the songs was our song.

We are going to play Etta James'' version of "At Last" at our wedding because by the time we get married we will have been together for 5 or 6 years depending on whether or not we go for the long engagement. We are also going to use Elton John "Tiny Dance" and "Your Song." I haven''t really planned much yet since I don''t have the e-ring on my finger yet, but I do love music and have a list for whatever DJ we end up using. It''s funny because when my friends have gotten married they couldn''t come up with more than 25 songs, and asked us (bridesmaids) to help come up with songs, I have to cut some or my reception will be 12 hours long

I have always like Billy Joel''s "She''s Always a Woman to Me" too.
It''s a good epitome of what girls can be about.

I have always loved Etta James "At Last" too, but it has been played alot at the weddings I have been to in the last couple of years. Maybe by the time I get married it won''t be as popular anymore (1-2 years).

Both of Nora Jones'' CDs have good ones on there like "Lonestar" and "The Nearness of You"
Shawn Colvin''s "I Never Saw Blue Like That" is also pretty good too.

We dont really have a song either, but ive always thought of The Beatles "Something" as our song. It was FI that got me hooked on them (at least the later stuff) and for the line: "Somewhere in her smile she knows; That I don’t need no other lover". I am so happy being with FI, that i hope you sees all that love in my smile.

We are using another Beatles song, "I Will" for our first dance though. It''s short and sweet.

And I love "Have A Little Faith" by John Hiatt. Both of those songs would ring true for my BF and I.

I also love "Crush" by Dave Matthews- after we started dating seriously be both confessed that our early flirtations left us each blown away and he was my crush for many years before the real thing happened.

311 - "Amber" - on our first official morning as a couple, he helped me switch mods from my old car to my new car. He drove my old car to the dealership, and 311''s CD was in the deck. Amber was on when he started the car.
