What type of person would wear these rings?

I love #2 and #1 in that order. I don’t think age should factor into what diamond shape or setting you’re limited to. Life is short..Wear what you love..

I'd love a large emerald cut with baguette sides for an engagement ring! Elegant, timeless classic! Then I'd also get #1 for days I didn't want to wear the large diamond. I might get rounds instead of emerald cuts for that band just to have some variety, though.

I kind of have this but with all round diamonds. When I don't want to wear my wedding set, I wear a 5 stone diamond band. There are definitely times I want to be more discreet or don't want to risk losing or damaging the larger diamond.

I just went through a redo - engaged with a beautiful oval solitaire (covid bride here - ended up getting married after many, many cancellations) and after marriage I wanted something different.

All of the sudden I feel in love with a 3 stone idea, with paved sides, paired with a single prong eternity band. Aka a lot of bling and Im a very plain and simple person. But why does your wedding pairing have to match who you are? I dont think it does at all . Haha maybe Im crazy, maybe its covid crazy, or maybe I just wanted to shake things up. But what I will say - get what you love and know you can always change it.

For me I LOVE #3 - and pair it with a fun eternity band. You can also stack it with as many paved / blinged bands as you want to get #4's look - but condense it down on days where you might want more minimalism.

But ultimately go with your gut. Because when you dont you regret it and end up spending more to fix is haha.

All are beautiful and can be worn by anyone - just love your partner, then love your ring and everyone will think both are the right fit

the other style I avoid is high set rings. I am such a clutz I’d be banging it into and catching it on everything.
that aside I wear anything, preferably the bigger and louder the better.
I have no shame!

My ER is actually RB in bezel setting & I love how practical and clean-cut she is. But I also LOVE EC and asscher! They are so heavenly & so "artistic" and "precise" - reminds me of those lines from tall skyscrappers.

I thought I was set on the type of ring I wanted, but then I came across two beauties that didn't fit the mold of what I normally like.

My style is more #2 and #3.

#4 caught my eye, but I wonder if I just LIKE it, even though its not me (simple lines, classic). I wonder if it is too "young" for me - I'm 37 getting engaged.

I'm also considering #1, instead of a "big center stone engagement ring." My job is very DontStandOut, and I wonder if That is why I am considering such an unassuming ring.

People make a lot of assumptions about our personal lives based on our adornments. I invite you to imagine who would wear any of the rings in this collage (age, hobbies, lifestyle, etc.)

In my opinion (as a ring "stalker"), I think it is important to get the ring that you love. And - also wear it at the appropriate times. My ering (see my avitar) gets noticed. I have an eternity band of .20ct princess cut stones that I wear when I don't want to call attention to anything but me
and my work. I think that 1, 2, and 3 are all classic looks (think vintage Chanel, Dior, Givenchy). #4 is trendy (think Versace, Betsy Johnson, Jean Paul Gaultier). Only you know what will please your heart and express who you are... confidence is the best accessory!
