Let''s see for on my wishlist is a Wii (I know I''m getting that one!) and the newest Harry Potter games, a few other games, the hard cover edition of the Harry Potter books I don''t have, a few other books.

According to the fiance I''m getting jewlery (like I do every christmas) so I''ve been looking for something I really want. Hopefully he''ll stay close. Other than that, no idea. Surprise? Nothing?

Everyone else is probably getting me gift cards eventhough I tell them not to.

We''re going to try having our surrogate pump breast milk for us. We''ll see how that goes. :)Don''t be jealous, your time will come! I''ll definitely get some cloth diapers.

How close are you to La Jolla? One of my best friends is in grad school there. She loves it and wants me to come visit her and her hubby.

Ohh, I found my ring! Just gotta convince Nate to buy it for me . . .

That''s awesome! I hope so for your babies.!! Oh my stars, my time has come and gone.. I have four children, three of which are adults.. so.. no more for me. lol I''ll enjoy grandbabies as my future Christmas gifts in about ten years. LOL

La Jolla is about 25 minutes from me, I love it. If you come out, we''ll have another PS get together!

Ohh. My. WORD!! Four kids? Get out! I thought you were like a few years older than me. I''m so bad with ages. I''m truly shocked.

This year will be the same as last year, no presents for hubby and me, money is just to tight, presents to my kids will also by scaled back, but they will still have a very good christmas, that is what is important to me anyways, I love watching them open their presents.

Now if I had to pick something I really wanted it I would be a new a 1 carat 5 or 7 stone wedding band

I saw the most delightful .96 D color pear with trillion side stones at my local T & Co. Best cut I've ever seen on a pear. But I think my computer at home just bit the dust, so I'm afraid I'll have to settle for a new computer.
That sounds gorgeous. I never seen a pear w/trillions, beautiful!

Hope you find a great computer Madam! I got a laptop so I think that is my present and I am sort of inheriting a diamond brooch so that is my present too. I think I need a couple of pairs of jeans and some cute boots and I am set. hehee

SDL, yay about your son being w/you guys! That is wonderful news!
Penn, yay to the Twins!!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.

*and a pair of diamond studs*

I always want something blingy. He did get me the gorgeous tennis bracelet, I got it tonight for the first night of Hannukah. I love it.

I would like everyone to get something special or on their list. That would make me happy. And I would love my niece to hear from med school that she got in!

This is so ridiculous that I'm embarrased to even post it, but here goes...

I want a new big thermal cup so I don't have to run to the microwave every five minutes whenever I make a cup of tea. My old one got left behind at my previous office and I even went there yesterday and climbed all over the kitchen, including in the highest cabinet shelves, but someone seems to have absconded with it.

And with amazing frequency I find myself in a property with no lights (for a variety of reasons; new construction and they haven't been installed yet, foreclosure and the power's been cut, that sort of thing) so I want the biggest, most powerful, widest-beamed flashlight that DH can find to keep handy in the car.

Christmas at your house is kind of silly because we both basically buy things as we want them but for some reason my DH insists that I have gifts to open so come December every year I end up with this goofy list of things like this just so he can put something under the tree for me.

The one thing I do really enjoy though is watching the dog (this year dogS) open his/their gifts. So cute! Makes up for the fact that I'm getting stupid stuff, LOL!

Hmm...I only have a few things I really want.

I do want a Jiffy J 4000 commercial steamer desperately so I can keep my clothes wrinkle free! I''m making myself wait until Christmas to see if I get one. If I don''t, I''m buying it for myself!

I would also like a nice yellow gold chain bracelet...I can''t find one that really speaks to me, though. I''ll have to do another search soon since Christmas is right around the corner!

Also I wouldn''t mind some fun sporty clothes and a pair of hiking shoes for Costa Rica. So maybe I will ask for a gift card to REI or EMS or somewhere similar.

The best present ever would be for someone to clean and organize my clothes in my guest bedroom/clothing room! I am a terribly messy person and my clothes are pretty much everywhere in the room! The bed is covered, the dressers are full and there are shoes all over the floor! I need organization help sooooo desperately.

I don''t really have anything else I want. I''m one of the hard to shop for types because I buy myself everything I want pretty much right away! I have to think of some stuff because I''ve been asked for lists lately from my sisters and parents!

Thing, there are people who will come into your home and do just that. Might be worth doing, could really make what you have more accessible and usable.

I just saw it today... I don''t have the specs on it but just saw when I quickly stopped in a local jewelry store. It''s a blue topaz center with an airline halo with the diamonds of the halo being milgraine bezel (kinda looks like a flower). Where the shank meets the halo there are pink stones with a pink bezel and two diamonds on the shank. Hearing the description it might sound like too much going on but really it was very dainty and feminine and pretty. I suppose I could get it for myself for a graduation present!

What I already told FI is a new leather bag.

L''s for love.

This is terribly cheesy, BUT . . .

FI and I only exchange "real" gifts when we find perfect things for each other (think: an electric guitar autographed by his fav band, a first edition of my fav book three years ago) SO, we write each other real, handwritten letters for birthdays and holidays.

I LOVE THEM! My FI is not very, er, expressive, so writing the letters is a really difficult thing for him, but he enjoys doing it, and he really likes reading them. (I found a draft of a birthday letter on his computer over two years ago, it was really endearing to know that he wrote it in advance and edited it on his computer before putting pen to paper!)

Anyway, these letters give us both a chance to say real things to each other that we think of regularly, but rarely express. They're not mushy "I love you more than the sun and the moon" letters, but rather honest, heartfelt letters.

Ugh, could we sound any cheesier? We're really NOT cheesy--in fact, this is why we do the letters, we joke that we fit a whole year's worth of romance into our notes to each other.

I never thought I''d say this, but I have absolutely everything I could possibly want (because I bought it all during this past year
