We haven''t chosen ours yet, but here are a couple that I love (FI and I have very different taste, though--we''re having a little trouble agreeing)


''The Luckiest'' by Ben Folds

''Real Love'' by Regina Spektor (a John Lennon song) Her version is a bit quirky but that''s why I love it!

''Everything'' by Michael Buble (I happen to think this is the perfect first dance song!)

THe Luckiest is such a BEAUTIFUL song!

Well, we were going to do ''Thank You'' by Led Zepplin, but for some reason it did not feel like''us''.... so we just decided on doing ''Love Song'' by 311, previously done by the cure.


We really wanted a song that you could hear just listening to the radio and bring you back to that moment. It was also important to me that FI really liked the song, not just liked it because it made me happy.


It is a tough choice to make!

We were gonna do a Zeppelin song too, but it just didn''t fit with the feel of the wedding. I am a HUGE Zeppelin fan, so it didn''t matter to me, but hubby didn''t want it.

Our first dance will be to 'Thirteen' by Ben Kweller.

This is a fantastic first song choice! My fiance and I reconnected after college and started our relationship over the phone as we were living in different states and this song was very dear to us- especially the line, "fell in love on the phone" seeing that we actually did fall in love on the phone

We will definitely use this song in our reception, but I'm not sure what we will use as our first dance song- we are nervous for a first dance!

DH and I were going back and forth between At Last and the Mariah Carey/Luther Vandross version of Endless Love. We picked Endless Love, but the f*ing band couldn't find it on the CD we gave them

, so they ended up singing At Last. I'm still quite bitter about it.

We danced to "The Best Is Yet To Come", the Michael Buble version. We had been together so long...and it just seemed to fit. We actually made the decision coming home in the car from wedding related things, it came on my MP3 player, we looked at each other and said, "that''s it!".

This might sound cheesy. But I grew up dreaming of my first dance being a song that was popular at the weddings I went to as a kid. While we haven''t planned our wedding yet (still debating on traditional wedding or not), our first dance will be "Could I have this dance" by Anne Murray. I just adore her voice and I cry when I hear that song.
