Ms. Ashley is gorgeous !!!!! My best friend has a Cocker Spaniel named Porche. I can''t tell you how much money she has spent over the years on medical bills.
I grew up with cockers and I think people get with a breed (if they are getting a pure bred dog) and usually stay with it. We got Ashely after we lost my soul mate (a red and white cocker) at 12 1/2 years. We flew to Bangkor Maine from Houston and back in one day to pick her up. She rode in the cabin with us and never said a peep. I flew to Raleigh to get Charlotte and back in one day. The breeders meet us at the airport, we pay for them, pick up them and their papers (although we never register them and have had both of them spayed) and catch the next flight home. Dogs love like no other living thing, imho. I couldn''t imagine life without one. All of them posted are soooooooooo cute and we can all tell they are all so loved.
OK guys - how is this for a big laugh!! Our son is in school in Melbourne, Australia on a year abroad program (lucky kid!!) Anyway, he called home last week and informed us that he had a new pet..after about 20 guesses, he told us that he chipped in with 2 other guys and they bought a duckling
They kept the duckling in a cage on the patio of their dorm room......within 3 days it had escaped through a small hole in the cage.....oh well, it was warm and fluffy while it lasted
Denise, sorry, I called Peanut - Tiny. Well, Peanut IS Tiny. But sooooooooooooo cute! And yes, AFBF, Charlotte is a cocker spaniel - a tri color parti. And she IS a parti - all to herself! She doesn''t look like that any more but her baby pictures are so cute that I can''t look at them without laughing. This is one of her sleeping when she finally pooped out when she was just 9 weeks old. She still plays hard and sleeps hard!
she''s a 10year old lab cross staffy with attitude+
She is adorable though and so loving and very well trained. I got her off some family members that were moving to Melbourne from the country and had to get rid of some of their dogs so she is a very well trained puppy when she wants to be
Tess is so cute and looks so happy. She looks like she's squinting.
Yes, Peanut is TINY !! Tiny but has BIG personality already. He's a Chihuahua. Actually my daughter got him on Saturday. He's so small that I was afraid that Snowy (my poodle) would think it was mouse or a rat and would try to kill it.
But no....all three of them get along great. They even took a nap together today. Isn't that cute ???
Laundry baskets ??? I thought Snowy was the only one who did that. If you can't find Snowy...look in the laundry room. There he is on top of clean or dirty clothes. Or...he loves to plop right on top of my clean, nicely pressed clothes that I had laid out for work. What a nut ... tee hee.
The thread that NEVER DIES! It''s amazing how much we love our pets....maybe more then our diamonds!!!!! In my case I believe it''s the "empty nest syndrome" and the need to parent! Denise, the newest little "pooh" in your family is so precious. Soon the dogs will outnumber the humans! I don''t know if I''ve posted this picture before, but I can''t resist showing off "Rocky and Miss Ally Waggs. Here they are drinking a bit of milk left over from my cereal (could they be part cat??) They are so cute together. Miss Waggs is the alpha and Rocky just lowers his head and lets her take all of his food, toys and attention! Anyway, for us dog lovers, this thread is the "eye-candy" !!!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww what a pair of cuties. What breed are they? I used to have a small fluffy puppy and she was such a tough little bully it used to be really cute seeing her going nuts at these big huge dogs that would just stare at her in shock that a small little fluff ball could answer back to them.
They are oversized Yorkies.....actually Silkies. They are the total center of the universe here. All activities revolve around them! In my next life - I want to come back as "Miss Waggs" or "Rocky"!
Oh dear...pet pictures. I''m in trouble now..hehehe.
I have more pictures of my Maggie than any one person should have of their little, furry family member.
