You asked for a doozy right there. Green shoes in general aren''t easy to find...

Too tall of a heel at 3.25 inches...but it''s a wedge
Well...it''s green...
Minty metallic green...

I''m going to keep my eyes open for anything, but so far, it''s not looking so good...

Hey ladies...apologies for the threadjack, Freke, but I thought these might be nice for marchswallowbird. They don''t meet all of her criteria (open toe, heel a little too high), but they''re a possible color match, on sale, and available in a 7.5 wide or 7-7.5 medium:
Nine West Jiopa

mrowmrowsmom- dress is from marciano.com

freke- those purple shoes are from marciano.com thanks for the help so far.. not a huge fan of them... BUT out today i found a really pretty pair...ill post them later... but they are stilletos and i really want a silver wedge too :-) but i cant seem to find any i like...maybe ull have better luck!! so.. silver... 6.5...wedge...with rhinestones... and under 150..

and i found these just wish i could afford them! hahaha

Sorry to intrude on Freke''s thread, but..

Sadly, Freke is probably going to be away for a little while. She posted about it here and I''m only linking to it in this thread because I don''t think she''d want anyone to feel like she''s ignoring you.

Alright ladies, I am in no way shape or form nearly as talented as Ms. Freke at finding shoes, but I have some time so I''m going to attempt to help a little while she''s gone.

Starting with PearlDahhhling...

Bensbride - not only are we dress twins, but we''re shoe size twins as well. How hard is it to find cute shoes in a size 11?!? I''m actually going to wear my silver strappy sandals that I wore to prom 8 years ago. For you, how about a silver ballet flat? Jessica Simpson comes to mind...can''t find anything right now because I''m on a 56k connection though!

Misspinky, thanks so much for posting these suggestions. I especially love the first pair! Just some additional guidance if you have more time to look for me: I''m really looking for heels as close to 5" tall as possible. I''m really short, and I would like to be taller, of course, and I think that my dress looks best with very tall heels (otherwise, the bias-cut skirt doesn''t fall quite right, IMO).

I really appreciate your help. You have great taste.

I''ll definitely keep looking, but most of the 5" heels that I''ve found have some form of clear plastic or lucite as a design element...

The ones that came the closest were 4 and 7/10 inches and those were Louboutins...I''m sure there are some 5" shoes out there that are within the budget, I just haven''t found them yet. The search continues...

ohhh, I need help!! (in more ways than one--hahahah)

Color: chocolate brown or gold (I prefer a deeper gold than an orangey gold)...or, really, I''m open to this too (I think my colors will be fall-like...chocolate brown, goldish, maybe peach or orange)
Size: 6.5-7.5 (usually right about 7)
Heel height: 2+ inches (preferably more like 3)
Heel style: stiletto
Style of shoe: prefer open toe/peep-toe, but I''m open to closed too
Material: anything that is dressy...not just leather
Season of wedding: Late autumn
Dress: (POB Vineyard Collection Maeve--pic attached)
Anything you don''t want: no chunkiness; if there is a platform, keep it small
Anything you do want: I want it to be a special shoe--something interesting, y''know?
Preferred brands: none
Budget: hopefully $200, but whatever. it''s my wedding, and I want to look HOT!
