Hi! I hope I''m not too late. Here is something "exotic"
20.gif
- slovene language:
"Ljubim te." = I love you
"Bi se poroèila z mano?" = Will you marry me?

WOW! We have such a fun international group on this forum!! Another reason why I love coming here everyday!!!!

haha, Rainbow, my favorite phrase back in HS french class was "Je t''amerais a jamais!" (I will love you forever...except that "jamais" literally also means never...i thought it was hilarious)

Here is Russian

Ya tebya liubliu - I love you

Davai jenitsa! - Lets get married

Ya bih hotel chtobe tih stala maya jena - I would like you to become my wife

Ya bih hotel na taboi jenitsa - I would like to marry you

Unfortunately i dont know how you''d ask "will you marry me"...

Hmmm, my Indian fiance said it''s "Kya aap mujhse shaadi karoge?" or just "Mujhse shaadi karoge?"

Anyone know how to say "will you marry me?" in latin?

the closest I can come up with is:

mos vos matrimonium mihi?

which i think is

will you marriage me?

This may be good eneough, but I was wondering if there is a more correct way of saying it?

Here''s Italian....the language of love....

Sarai la mia sposa? - will you be my bride?

dimmi che mi sposerai - say you will marry me

ti chiedo di essere mia per sempre - I ask you to be mine forever...

....my fiance'' proposed to me in Italian at during our vacation in Tuscany this summer and he used all three! We plan on marrying in Tuscany next September!

buona fortuna!
