i just did my one on one session with sir john and it was just amazing. i was able to tell him in real time with live pictures exactly what i wanted. it was just like being there.... only better because i could sit here and eat lunch too!
the group sessions have been fun and informative but i have to say, the individual session was EXTREMELY useful. i think we will look back one day and wonder how we ever got along without this!

The one-to-one is great. I was on the phone with Belle so we were able to converse while having the interface open. She could see me on camera so I could show products 'live' and in scale if necessary.

Edit: To avoid confusion, showing products means to imply scale between settings, etc., not comparisons of two diamonds. The human eye & brain perceive 3D beauty differently than the camera - and settings can be manipulated. We’ll be experimenting with equipment and setups to see what's practical and realistic.

One of the coolest things in these 121 sessions is the text and graphics tools become 'live' for both of us. I uploaded a photo. Belle highlighted design concepts she was interested in retaining and others she didn't like. I made suggestions and kept text notes on the screen (we both could see them). At the end of the session I captured the graphic. I'm sending it to our design team for a quote, with copy to Belle. We accomplished what would normally take many emails in about 15 minutes.

Great Belle and John! Unfortunately my session will be just theoretically 121 as i want to use a set up of one-to-many so everyone can see what's going on.
The control will be all in Wink's hands because of this but i will be on the phone too asking him to upload my picture and to draw for me.

Edited: The session will be at 6pm EST, sorry for the delay.

Thanks, looking forward to it!!!

Hee heee.............that was a TON of fun......

and John did an excellent job!

Many kudos to him for being willing to stretch to later hours for us!

Agreed...it was a lot of fun!

I agree we need a chat room. You people are such good fun!!

I missed Johns evening ''show'' as it would have been around 2am here and I was safely tucked up in bed! Probably best that I wasn''t there - I think I am a bit disruptive!!

DROOOOOL!!!!! I cannot wait to see that session, Irina. Thank you so much for letting us get a little insight into that talent of yours. You are amazing.

I think Wink did a great job using his new ProScope camera this Friday night. It''s not as good with ideal-scope but rather impressive showing diamonds and colored gemstones live in normal lighting.

I tried this camera before but it is way better with real diamonds.

Wow Irina, that is even better than your earlier design they are all copying!!!

You should give the moderation thingy up and become a full time designer

Oh, my GOODNESS!

This ring will definitely require some first class talent to execute properly. I may use my absolute top Designer, one who has worked for Royalty (King of Lichtenstein) and the top Hollywood "American Royalty" to be absolutely sure that this one is done right. She costs a bit more, but like Loriel, she is definitely worth it!

Madam Irina does not design pieces for the faint of heart or for the apprentice! This will be a fun challenge!

. There are 2 cushions with different cc in the mail, one of them going into this ring i guess, shank of a rose gold, platinum prongs and bigger/lower melees - those pink diamonds Wink showed Thursday. When i saw them i re-considered the whole color scheme to this:

HI:

I just had a "one on one" session with Wink, and I loved how seemless everything worked. I got to put a "face (diamond) to the name (paper)", and along with Wink''s charm, it just doesn''t get any better.

I am well pleased!

Thanks PS!

Wink has an awesome personality don''t he?
Whats kewl about him is he don''t put on "acts" Wink is Wink, and the first time I talked to him on the phone it was like talking to an old friend who I had know for ages.
His love of gemstones, diamonds and people sure has been shining thru in these sessions.
Glad you had a great session with him.

Thank you both for the kind words. I am sixty years old and not capable of remembering who I told what, so I just have to tell every one the same. I find that when I am at pricescope I am spending a LOT of time with like minded people, it is a fun place to be!

You''re 60 years young and are doing a great job. I am contacting you for my own 121. I have learned more from these webinars ( yup webster''s dictionary needs to add this new word ) than I ever imagined. You have a very nice way about you. And look forward to learning more. Thanks to all the experts that are giving so freely of their time. We really appreciate it. Huge kudos to Leonid and Irina for making this possible. It took buying over the internet to a whole new level. Personalized it, and is history in the making. I am grateful to witness this, and to be a part of it. We are all very lucky to have this technology at our fingertips and to have such generous experts to guide us. It is like a five star hotel here. What more could you ask for?

Thank you also for your kind words. I will look forward to our session, let me know when you are ready.

I hope no one minds but I did a screen capture on the benitoite :) It''s not the best shot we got to see live, but I didn''t think to do it until the end of when he was showing that stone :)

well if the designer replicates the delicate prong overlay thing with subtlety, let me know because thats one of the things that caught up my local gal.... I wanted the overlapping to be obvious but subtle (does that make sense? lol) and instead I got chunky octopus arms fighting over a fish lol:

Great pic C!! What a dreamy stone--I can''t help thinking it would look nice in a pendant, ala belleirina design.
