It''s a game that people play internationally on servers. You can be playing with people you know, people from England, Ireland, Russia, Japan, anywhere! Kind of cool when you think about it.


MMORPG = Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

Yea Dream, it''s a role playing computer game. There are quests to fulfil and you can find your friends and play with them. Its fun except Elle and LP are like level 1000 and I''m like level 2!



Oh the shame!

I would have liked to have just power-leveled you through, but this is your first character, so it''s really important you actually learn the game. You could be leveling a lot faster if we wanted to do so.


I can''t wait to take you through your first instance. That''ll be fun! We will run RFC in Orgrimmar!

Ohhh, the memories. I wanna come too.

Yeah, I have never really done much raiding. I like leveling. Yes, I''m lame.

People REALLY level quickly, but I just don''t have the attention span for it! I just take my sweet time. People in my guild would seriously get from 1-80 in less time than I got from say... 30 to 40.

There''s a funny youtube video about some guy that is FREAKING OUT on his vent during a raid. He just keeps screaming ''MORE DOTS MORE DOTS! STOP THE DOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!'' It''s hilarious. FF and I laughed about that video for so long. I can''t search youtube at work so I can''t find it, unfortunately.

I''m with you, I don''t raid. Heck, I don''t run instances anymore now that my family all quit cold turkey (my sister says she was neglecting her kids, and she made her husband quit too, to make things even). I refuse to PUG because I get too annoyed, and I won''t raid because the game is supposed to be fun, not stressful. Thus, my main (hunter) is an 80 who''s never run an instance (except running my stepbrother''s lowbies through ZF or what have you). Needless to say, my gear is far from epic. But at least I''m enjoying myself!!

This reminds me. One night I heard DH yelling. Very loudly at people. I got properly scared and went into the office. He and the other people in the guild were all on vent imitating youtube videos and how serious everyone got!

Elle, I''m not Killrog so I couldn''t ever come. I''m envious that you all play together. It''d be a lot more fun for me if I could play with other people like that.

I''ve never found raiding to be all that stressful (except for when I first started and wiped the raid 3 times running in Karazhan *whistles* I got better though!). It really must depend who you raid with.

It will get more fun. At level 4 you train again, and you''ll learn 2 new skills. It''s important to make sure you understand how to fight with your warlock before you move on... I don''t want you to get overwhelmed like I did. Practice using your shadow bolt a lot so you get that down, then I can try and help explain the two new spells you get at level 4.

You train every 2 levels, and get new skills, in case I didn''t mention that.

Other than to get better, get better gear, get higher level, get higher proficiency in your profession. I guess basically just to meet goals? WoW is kind of what you make of it.

BF and I are on a euro server where we raid 3 nights a week and are both officers in the guild.

Elledizzy I know exactly what you tube video that is...and it''s sooo funny!!!!!! Total psycho that guy though lol. I wouldn''t raid if he was my raid leader.... my bf is the RL so woot for me I get good group setup

Sigh...at times like this I realise how dorky I am sometimes

I used to raid 6 nights a week (don't ask I'm ashamed lol) so I know EXACTLY how psycho some people get with mmorpgs.

No, not really. I like the idea of having a major quest, along with little side quests, but I guess I''m just used to that from the RPG''s on PS3.

It''s still fun.

There is a whole over arching story. And several quests and later raids that you can do with stories behind them...or at least goals. Congratulations on level 3!
