I don''t play WoW but I play EQ2 does that count?

BF and I are on a euro server where we raid 3 nights a week and are both officers in the guild.

Elledizzy I know exactly what you tube video that is...and it''s sooo funny!!!!!! Total psycho that guy though lol. I wouldn''t raid if he was my raid leader.... my bf is the RL so woot for me I get good group setup

ZOMGGGGG WHAT SERVER ON EQ2!? I play EQ2 as well! Not currently, but I have an 80 Brigand on Nagafen. I had an 80 Warden on Befallen but sold all her gear and mounts and traded the plat for plat on Naggy and deleted her lol.

Haha, what raid zone? My guild was not into big raiding, we used to do SoH every week but we really only could down two bosses in there. They were just great people.

I loved my warden, I was immediately sad after I deleted her.

Quick question, do Furies get a version of Heirophantic Genesis? I think it's an ancient teaching but I'm not sure. If so, do you ever use it? I never did.

Do you have your Myth yet? I only got through the first part to the Fabled. NEK CASTLE FTL.

EDIT: It's not an ancient teaching, here's the description. Replenishes a large amount of health over time. The warden is stunned as long as the spell is maintained, but the spell can toggled off early if desired.

I refuse to go into Nek Castle...I HATE that zone with a vengeance, actually Nek 1, 2 or 3...all just as bad... damn Billy doll!!!

Furies don't get anything like that .. wardens have always been better with power regen...my power goes very quickly when I dps and don't have an illusionist with me

Heh, you''re on PvE and my briggy is on PvP so you couldn''t recruit me if you tried lol. Yeah warden myth is unstoppable for power regen.

And yeah nek castle sucks, I had to go into Nek 1 and 3 for the brig fabled. And since I hate that zone I had no access to the doors in there, and had to do the WHOLE access quest. PITA.

Lol yeah PvP is rough, I tried it at launch and got to level 16 and gave up. Then one day about a year ago I was SO bored on my Warden that I created a Briggy on Nagafen and got to level 19 and looked for a Guild. I came across Venom and talked to this guy named Oemm and he was so awesome that I joined the guild. And the rest is history. They like to PvP and have each other''s backs. It''s mostly 80''s but they have enough alts that you''re never really alone. I liked them so much that I GAVE UP PvE and went entirely to Nagafen. I reached 80 in a month and a half, which was a record for me.

If you''re ever feeling frisky or the urge to PvP, go to Nagafen and look up Venom, if you talk to Oemm, tell him Lydia sent you, and the rest will be history LOL.

1-20 is really gank-heavy in PvP, because everyone is twinked, but once you get past like level 30, people don''t care as much, cause everyone is trying to get to 80. Just don''t ever go to EL on PvP, you will die. Repeatedly. LOL. KoS is bad too. But who likes KoS anyway?

We''re not threadjacking, it''s all within the MMORPG line! We have similar enough lingo I think that it''s okay lol.

I actually have a lvl like 5 alt called Lydia....

I just like to make some toons to save their name in case I want to make a real alt (which never really happens hah!) So I usually delete and make another toon...I like to create them lol, i know it''s a lil weird. Oh and I only make either Wood Elves or Dark Elves, nothing else...again a lil weird I guess

We''re in between pulls right now...waiting for rez sickness...oh the joys of raiding!!

There is a level 8 Mystic on Venekor named Lydia. I'm so mad about that, because she hasn't been played in like 2 years, and my Lydia is level 80, but the other Lydia will get the name if the servers merge because she was created first.

So glad that's not you! LOL!

And you're not weird! I have so many level 2's just to reserve names, I like to create them too!

And I only play Half Elves or Wood Elves, so you're not weird there either!

Errmm...lol... I just checked my alt and it's called Nydia not Lydia ... They're pretty similar though! I probably tried for Lydia but it was taken lol... and got confused because I haven't played her much since the day I made her hah!

Lol sorry. It's pretty much the same lingo we're using you just don't recognise it because we're talking about zone names lol. And classes.

Deia plays a fury, which is most comparable to a Druid. Actually, it IS a druid, but they got rid of subclass quests long ago

I play a Brigand, which is most comparable to a rogue, except betta

EQ2 has (correct me if I'm wrong Deia, I'm going off of visual from create screen) 20 races? Heck I can't remember, but there's a lot.

And it has 24 classes, unlike WoW's like 8 or something? I dunno, it's just more versatile in my mind, lots more options for group makeup. There are 6 healer classes, 6 fighter classes, 6 scout classes, and 6 mage classes, all specialize in different areas.

WoW makes up for this with spec trees, which we sort of have too, but when you're a healer in EQ2, that's pretty much what you do. Unlike in WoW, for example shadow priests can do pretty good DPS, the only healer in EQ2 that can do decent DPS really is a Fury.

And FORGET about a druid tanking in EQ2. WOULD. NOT. HAPPEN. I only trust Berserkers and Guardians, and on the off chance a Pally, if geared correctly.

I used to play the original EQ. Gosh that was so long ago. It had some fantastically annoying features like xp loss when you died and crazy corpse runs, hoping nobody lewted your body in the interim.

I''ve never played Horde. FI has a second account, because we only play on PVP servers, that has a lowbie Horde toon to spy and pick up Horde only recipes and stuff. Whenever we''ve done the Horde cities raid, we''ll keep the "spy toon" logged in so we know what''s going on in chat, etc.

I wish this semester hadn''t been so time-sucking otherwise I think our guild would have progressed through Naxx. Alas, RL priorities suck sometimes

I''d be excited to come play with you girls. Which server did are you all on?

I never played the original EQ. EQ2 was my first love. No xp loss when you die in EQ2. You used to have to go get your body when I first started playing EQ2 but they did away with that. Now it''s just rez sickness.

My guild has made it through the Antechamber of Ulduar on 25 man; I''m not sure how far they''ve progressed on 10 man since those start too late for me to attend. We tried Hodir first in the Keepers of Ulduar section but weren''t able to get him down.
