WOW! Stunning Sapphire in LOGR Setting

The sapphire is gorgeous.

, but I agree with everyone the stone seemed to be set a little high.

Stone - a real beauty;

setting - high;

long prongs - asking for trouble.

Problems like these with proportions and height are among the most common with premade settings. They (the settings) can usually accomodate a certain range of stone sizes, but some sizes end up looking better than others. And profile is usually what I examine first when judging settings, cause if you know what to look for, that''s where you''ll find most of the potential problems. Of course, no offence or anything, I''m just giving you my honest opinion and possibly some advice

Honestly, the setting is too high IMO, not just a bit high, but a LOT too high - sorry for being so blunt. I say that because you can see the entire pavilion including the culet from profile view.
