Your Favorite Piece of 2009

I think my favorite is one of the newest - my JKT "Katie" ring - the tourmaline just GLOWS! Julia said it reminded her of a piece of green Christmas candy...

My favorite piece of the year isn't even mine; it belongs to my mother.

I helped her source the stone and setting, and the more I worked on it for her, the more I fell in love with it myself.

She got the stone (4.25 ct asscher cut amethyst) from Barry and the setting at a gem show locally. She's beyond delighted the result.
