Whoa!!! Another extraordinary piece!
ETA - your collection is one of my faves - past and present pieces
Thank you! Much appreciated. I feel the same about yours!

I am eyeing earth-mined OECs below 1ct range in I&R with the intention to treat myself to one as a RHR to mark a soon-to-end contract that I hold dear since 2019.
I may end up blowing the initial budget!

Purchased a platinum swirly-shell-wave kind of setting with a transitional cut center from Alex Park last week. I absolutely love this piece! It’s ridiculously hard to get good pics but I’ll post a couple. Could not be more pleased with the finger coverage nor the sparkle.
The center came with a GIA report: .85 circular brilliant, I SI2. It’s eye clean for me but does show a little warmth (I’ve become more color sensitive over the years!) and it has lots of personality. I might call it Moana. Reminds me of that movie and a mighty, mighty young woman who was a force of nature.
Me, too!!!!I love Moana
I didn’t take any pics, unfortunately. I tried on a small two tone gold - which fits my wrist exactly, but I like it a little looser especially since crutches are still part of my world. My husband tried on a solid yellow gold - don’t remember the size - it looked great on him! I also tried on a rose gold with diamonds on the outside edge (8 or 9) medium which I liked best. .
The lock mechanism was really clever and simple. One side has little ridges, that’s where you pull it to open the other end, which just pulls out, then you swing it open and over your wrist, and and ‘lock’ it in place. It was easy to do, see, and I didn’t find the tiny marking distracting at all. It’s an elegant design, and for my favorite (RG and diamonds - individually set - not pave) was just under 10k. Lots of gold. Solid feel, but not too much. DH estimates at least 5k of gold alone. Then the design, branding, etc.
I also tried on lots of other things, and now have a schlumberger ruby and diamond yellow gold ring in my future. I’ve been looking for a spacer for my anniversary band (affectionately known as the chainsaw) and newly re-set ER (the chainsaw ate they setting). We picked up a cute little band with tiny rubies and Tiffany & Co branding that we both really liked. So, I officially have my first Tiffany piece (I’m not much of a brand girl).

Well, I did a thing. More pics and story in this thread:
I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore…
Oh boy, this is gonna be a doozy, so buckle up your ruby slippers and get ready for story time. For about a thousand years I’ve been saying to myself and to others that I want a big old emerald cut emerald ring. I told both my ex-husbands this information. They preferred diamonds for engagement...www.pricescope.com
I’d start a new thread for CAD advice IMO!
You’re absolutely right! I took the question out since I love it as-is.
Lovely!!
Tell us about (and show us, who am i kidding) your OEC trio?
What metal are you doing with?
