SO gorgeous, @Lookinagain! Congratulations - it's a beauty!
Update: I pulled the trigger this weekend on my new diamond tennis bracelet : )
I decided to go with my local store, I loved the setting they offered and they were able to fairly easily have the vendor in NYC add 2 additional stones to the bracelet, to give it a bit more movement on the wrist like I wanted.
It should be on its way to NYC for the alteration Monday, and I should have it back within 3-4 weeks! I'm ok with that bc I firmly believe in never rushing the bench!
Will share final stats and photos once I have the final product, very excited!!! : )
So exciting!!! Can't wait to see it!
I also want to compliment you on starting this thread back in 2019, it's such a great idea for a thread and so much fun!
I have a short & long term project in the works!
We plan on re-purposing the 0.3ct round diamond from my original engagement ring, most likely into a bezel dbty style pendant. Because my next project will be in platinum I’m thinking this pendant will be in 18kt rose gold…
For our 10th anniversary (in 2 years time!!) I want a platinum emerald cut pendant. I tried this one on & it was 0.6ct. It was stunning.
This is so perfect, @Lookinagain! Just came back for a second drool! Love it!
I posted this in another thread but may as well put it here as well. I know I want an eternity or 3/4 eternity in a white metal for my index and middle finger. I don't want it to read as a wedding band. I'm deciding between a pricey option, a much less pricey option, and waiting to see what else comes around. If anyone knows any other rings in a 7.5-7.75 that would fit the requirement, let me know! Otherwise:
Cheap option, 3.1mm wide, with 13 4mm x 2mm unheated pastel sapphires and 13 2mm x 1mm baguettes. These are all colors I wear in my real life so it's versatile for me in that sense. I worry this ring will look too prong-y plus it unsurprisingly doesn't look as expensive as the expensive option:
Expensive option, which is a little over 3x the price of the cheap one and the most I would have spent on a piece of jewelry. It's 5.8mm wide and an estimated ~3ctw French cuts and 0.75ctw round brilliants, F-G color. I worry this is "too much" for me in formality, vibe, cost, etc. plus it would probably overshadow anything I would wear on the same hand. But it's 3ctw of French cuts so that's pretty amazing!
Both are secondhand and would be returnable and I've been thinking about them for a while, so that's something. I'm debating ordering both and then returning at least one in the same credit card cycle.....
I have big hands with long fingers. Here's a ~4mm emerald band on my middle finger to give some idea of scale on me:

@newtojewels , I would wait for the just right band. I don't hear love in your post for either of them, and your fabulously elegant hands deserve the perfect band. (Can you tell I'm jealous of your long, slender fingers?)
The emerald ring looks so good on you. Maybe check the price of a custom french cut?
My personal reaction, which is valid only for me, is that the french cut with rounds above and below is a little busy. But, as I said initially, buy what you love!
Loving all these concepts and sparkling dreams.
Since creating my first custom piece SMTB thread for my recent pendant, I ended up pretty sick with my first confirmed case of COVID, and am resting waiting to see how things shake out in terms of long-term recovery.
I'm creating a custom ring setting for a little old mine cut diamond I have. It will feature pave set single cut stones in an Art Deco style like a smaller scale version of these diamond rings. This will fill my desire for a diamond encrusted Deco piece.
Keep waiting. There is always another treasure and neither of these is just right.

I own a susan kalan white diamond eternity band, which i actually sent to TRR to sell. I LOVED it, absolutely hands down LOVED (sadly for both of us size 4.75 lol). So if you like her stuff, maybe wait and see if one of the white diamond eternities comes up??
I actually hate selling it, it's just it only fit my left ring finger and totally clashes with my new monster engagement ring and being an eternity cant be resized.
So my thought would be to wait for a white diamond eternity from her. I highly recommend the La Fantaisie, it was so beautiful and sparkled like mad. I am actually checking daily to see if a bigger one comes up that i can wear on a different finger. Thankfully for me we're looking for different sizes! LOL!!!!
I also think a line of large French cuts is the height of elegance.
I'm having a diamond eternity ring custom made. I will use the diamonds from two half-eternity rings. The one belonged to me and the other one to my late mom. I'm planning on wearing this ring as my wedding band on most days. My wedding anniversary was very recently and DH offered to give me the funds needed to pay for the construction of the ring.
I'm very excited about this project because the ring will hold huge sentimental value for me.
My jeweler is working on the design and sent me some photos. I can't wait for this to be finished and on my finger! I'm so happy!!!!

One of the diamonds I bought for my five stone arrived and it’s a great match!! I’ll post more details over in my anniversary ring thread. Super stoked it worked out! New stone is the .54 K VS2.
Man oh man, this is going to be gorgeous!
