The carre cut band enchants me, OMG, what a ring. Where did it come from?

Thank you! It’s built like a tank
Contemporary piece from Wilson’s Estate

Somebody please talk me out of buying these! Or into buying them…I love them, but I don’t need them. But want them. 22k gold, 150 grams. Heeeeelp ! IMG_3674.jpeg

I'm not going to talk you out of them because they're fabulous. And 150 grams?!?!? I can't even imagine what that would feel like to wear.

What are they priced at? Indian jewellery - especially gold like this - should be priced pretty close to scrap value, with minimal cost associated with labour (and in this case diamonds). If they’re well priced go for it!

I knew I had come to the right place. The heaviest bracelet I have is 80 grams so this will definitely be felt on the arm.

They are 25% over scrap. Is that good or bad ?

I'm not the type to destroy vintage jewelry but I need some old cuts to do a halo with this unheated Ceylon sapphire. I have over 3 ct to work with now. Do you have any clearer pictures of the little cluster? It has the kind of prongs I am thinking of for my five stone. Those little Vs around the periphery.

Are the stones 3mm each for your halo?

@Dreamer_D they're both of the way to me, so I'll start a new thread for you with extra pics. They are of various sizes.

Initially I was like that doesn’t seem too bad, but then I realised if it’s 150g of even 18kt gold (and Indian jewellery would likely be 22kt) that is VERY expensive for the labour etc, by Indian standards though. If you’re not located in India, all bets are off. I would do some comparison shopping with other Indian jewellery stores in the area or check out what non-Indian jewellers are charging for this level of intricacy of work; to sanity check the quote according to your market?

I bought new huggies from Ritani. .65 natural double row hoops. On sale of course!

Wow! I love these huggies! They look fab on you!

@SparklieBug thank you! They are very comfortable on.

I cannot help you. wow they're beautiful!

I went to collect my new emerald pendant. So of course I had to try on some baubles!
This is a flawless jadeite ring. The stone has no black spots, no “snowflakes” or cotton, just pure green water. No wonder it has a 6-figure price tag.

Movie star, holy grail jadeite earrings. Both these and the one above are imperial green,

Jadeite heart — calling @mellowyellowgirl !! Shall I get this so I can twin with you?
IMG_0538.jpeg

This is one side of a pair earrings that I like very much. I am not sure how much wear I would get out of them, though.

Finally, here’s my new Old Mine Muzo green pendant which has been dressed with diamonds. She is Minerva’s little sister, Athena.

Omg @Crimson I do think the heart is gorgeous but imperial jadeite ring is EVERYTHING!!!!!

Is the heart more down to earth in terms of prices?

ETA: Athena is AMAZING!!!

So glad you like her!
The heart does not have a heart-stopping price, thank goodness. It is $26,500 but I think I can get some discount.
It is really nice for the price - intense green, and that halo is perfect!
I think you would approve of the size.
The line in the photo is a reflection of something. The stone is very clean.

Wait, I've missed this development, have you then decided against the three stone in favour of keeping the earrings?

@Avondale I decided to go with a halo. I have a sapphire Victorian band (see below) so a halo would be very different than what I already have.

A halo’s going to be a banger, too! I’m just patiently waiting for the day this ring gets ready so that I can feast my eyes on the photos. ::)

DK :))

I have settled for this ring setting for the Tsavorite, with an added air gap/line and for the bezel in Rose Gold, with a plain comfort shank.

Thanks for asking! I am just dithering and considering :mrgreen2: My sister likes it too! My birthday is coming up. Hehe! But I’m already have Athena and some other stuff I haven’t shared here.
The jeweller texted to say they have something for me — I wonder what? — so I am heading here again soon…Once more into Temptation Land. ️
I have some other thoughts on jadeite that I will post to the evaluating jadeite thread later today.

That’s amazing! :saint: I got distracted when I went to collect something for my friend (who is in London). How does one collect something without getting tempted? Not possible:oops2::P2 The pic below is of that Jeweller waving a neon spinel me. I am drawn to spinels! Bought three this year but that pink is alluring.
