I have finally collected my special commemorative Canadian coin with a design inspired by the late QEII's Aquamarine tiara (still in the family, however not sure if Queen Camila has worn it yet).

It is made with simulants as in CSs I believe, perhaps Swarovski crystals, however it is big size and sparkly to be made into a pendant.

Probably just a basic coin holding frame, or if budget allows, an a halo of micro diamond melees.

I have been trying to find a pair of more blingy small hoop type earrings that hug my big fat earlobes without making me look like a chameleon, so that I could wear them on their own.

These are LGDs and not expensive, and I like the design. I shall ask for a photo of the side view of the hoop and dimensions too before I push the buy button.

I just bought a tennis necklace and already have my eye on another piece! What do you think of this “spike” necklace? Yellow gold, natural diamonds, GH/SI, adjustable with 3 jump rings. (I wouldn’t necessarily pair it with the black sweater!) Never seen anything quite like it.

I think this has a visually interesting silhouette. I actually like it against your black sweater because the black emphasizes the silhouette. But I could also envision the necklace working well against your skin too as part of a stack with other chains, or tennis necklaces, etc.

I just got a ring today from Sean Gilson and Andrew Moline (@molinePDG)! Andrew had the naturally blue Akoya pearls and did the pearl layout, inspired by a previous design Sean had made with all white Akoya pearls. Sean approved of the layout then made my ring!

I've got a big anniversary coming up in May and i'm having a whole new wedding set made by my jeweler, as we speak! I'm having an eternity band made of natural rubies, which came from a pair of earrings that i wasn't wearing much and decided to re-purpose (DH's birthstone is the ruby and there is a beautiful symbolism there!). I'm also having a marquise diamond solitaire ring made to go with the new eternity band!
Also, since my original wedding set is made of white gold, i decided to have the new rings made in yellow gold, so that i can wear them with the rest of my yg jewelry!
I'm very excited about this project and i will post photos when the pieces are done!

Hello @dk168 ! I think that Queen Camilla has debuted the Aquamarine tiara on the 19th of November 2024, during a diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace. She combined the beautiful tiara with a mesmerizing Aquamarine necklace and matching earrings! She looked fantastic!

Yesterday I tiptoed off Ban Island and into the sea. I am convinced Ban Island is in the South Seas because I pounced on these golden SS pearls. Not my usual colour and wondering whether to keep them. They are 13mm, beautifully round and the surface is almost perfect. The colour is intense and deep, like 24K gold. They are set with diamonds in 18K rose gold.

I examined them under a loupe. They are so clean.
I can understand why you love your SS pearl ring. It is elegant - and huge!

Aww, thank you @RRfromR, I have to thank my parents for my hair! I am actually neutral to cool toned so I am surprised the earrings didn’t look awful on me. I think the bright almost metallic lustre of the pearls and the contrast with my hair both help.

Like you, I cannot wear mustard yellow, earth tones, brown or orange. My wardrobe is full of fuchsia, magenta, red, hot pink, cobalt blue, black and white and emerald greens. I think I can pull off these pearls because they are earrings. I cannot take an entire necklace of them!
