That is gorgeous @lulu_ma!! Would love more pics and deets if you get a chance!
Thank you @junebug17! The ring from the 1930's with an estimated 3.5 ctw in platinum. The stones are Carre, OEC and Swiss (?) cut. The Carre cuts are a bit tinted but it doesn't bother me-I just love the architectural vibe of the ring.

So I see pink? And on old cut???? Need details! We need a SMTB!
I've been... busy this month
First, I'll start with the loose stone I purchased in February but just received this week:
1.26ct heated slightly orangy pink Padparadscha sapphire
Not sure what I am going to do with her yet but so many ideas running through my head! I really like the idea of a contoured flush set band or an antique inspired solitaire. She is quite saturated so I think she handle a heavier setting like this:
Earlier this month, I went to the NY Antique Jewelry and Object show and added a new (to me) diamond & emerald brooch to my collection
And this weekend... I had just started to look for elongated / step cut diamonds for a project, and Gilded Lane posted an antique moval that I had to have
I don't have the stone in hand yet, but I am going to have it sent off to the bench immediately. Would love to recreate an antique Edwardian solitaire or old cut halo setting for her!!!
