Any new Leon Mege''''s Coming Soon?

OH MY! How beautiful!!
18.gif
I'm salivating!!! Can't wait to see it!

OH, so difficult to wait!!
20.gif

Wintotty I LOVE your bling on this page, I think I need to step away from ps.

I guess I am going to have to do some PS research after my son is done with his school project! He let me bump him off the computer while he rubs
my shoulders, all for the promise of a quick trip to the grocery so he can spend the money burning a hole in his pocket!
31.gif

I think I remember Dreamer saying that you had two beautiful stones, but I guess I missed the posts. PS is my favorite kind of research, so no
problem! Both rings are so lovely, Maytal is a great designer. Isn''t she in LA? I have heard great things about her.

Can''t wait to see all your projects Charmy! I was just thinking to myself, what am I going to do when I am done with this project? I have been working and/or thinking about it for over a year! Probably closer to two.

Pretty soon it is going to be a choice between bling or vacations, or bling and a litttle nip tuck! PS is such a contributor to my obsession!

Charmy I love your original e-ring and it is wonderful that Maytal is remaking it for you! Without opening any worm cans, what particularly were you wanting changed/unhappy with in the first design? I am just curious. It looks truly lovely to me, I love a split shank and may get one myself one day
4.gif
Dreamer - I am definetly not avoiding your qustion but I rather not go into the details given that Maytal has been so gracious and made such an effort to make me happy. Bottom line is that I learnt each designer has their own style. We really can't expect to have a designer make something that they don't typically make. For example, if what you want .. they don't have an example of something similar .. it usually means it's not their thing. I still absolutely love the split shank and I will still have it with my Leon project.

Maytal is in LA and she has done a lot of great work. The way I see it .. I go where the talent is and I don't care if they are not local.

If you want to see a few more of my projects, I have a thread going at the colored forums right now. https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-new-yummies-9-new-rings.143364/

A family photo of some of my gemstone rings - these include the rings where I purchased the setting and stone separately and put them together. I have never done this prior to PS - I used to always buy ready made jewelry from designer brands. PS opened my eyes. I feel like a show off but I guess if I was to do it ... PS is the place.

*in singsongy voice* I LOVE THesE!!! Yes, this is the place to let the yummies all hang out. What a gorgeous line up, Charmy! The colors are sooooooo incredible. I love your taste.

Yeah, me too on the buying stones and setting separately. PS has really opened my eyes as to quality, and I also enjoy the hunt. So I totally hear you Luv2Sparkle when you wonder what it''s gonna be like when your 2 year project is completed.

I hear you and do not want to pull for you to say anything negative about Maytal. I suppose I was just curious from a more general esthetic preference... like you like thinner bands, or a different style pave blah blah without any "I wanted X and I got Y!" type of thing... but I can probably intuit the issues based on comparing this ring to the Leon you will be getting
4.gif

Dreamer - You actually nailed several things but I guess you know me too well
emotion-5.gif

I love delicate rings with very thin bands .. I typically love flowy designs with lots of beautiful soft curves (although my Leon won''t have this exactly). I like my rings to be set low so I don''t bang it around. I am very very big on symmetry as I can even catch things less than 1 mm off. As such, it is important to me that my ring is symmetrical in the prongs and the basket. I also don''t like the look of metal and want my pave to have almost no metal showing.

omg I am drooling over those rings Charmy!!! wowsa!!!

Where would you say the best place to get some aquamarines might be?

How big is the aquamarine in your ring?Correction blue topaz checkerboard, gosh it's delectable!

Sent Rachael another email and got the final bill without the insurance, but she couldn''t give me a completion date.
14.gif
She said I could call Leon with any questions. I will probably wait
another week before I do that. Six weeks would put me about the 8th, she did say they were on schedule. That dashes my hopes that MAYBE it would be done early. Silly me.

Yah for all Leon projects! I can''t wait to see all the beautiful rings when they are done!

I received my ring last week and I am soooooooooo pleased about it! Just gorgeous, Leon at his best!

Megeve- WHERE ARE YOUR PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!! I can''t find a thread. You have got to know that you can''t tease us like that!!!!! Is that your new ring as your avatar? Come on, tide us over on this
very long wait!!!!

I am not sure which ring you are talking about. Care to enlighten me?

You know, you put your ring in your new Leon box and you take a picture of it. Ring in box, not to be confused with Ring on flower or Ring on table. Like that moments when you first got it and you opened the box! The one that made your heart stop for a second.

I love the Leon shot, but the wait is cruel an unusual punishment!
6.gif
That is some beauty. I can''t wait to hear all about it! Stats included. It looks like a huge stone. So very pretty. Were you on
schedule? What I mean is, did you get it in the time frame he originally stated?

omg that ring is AWESOME!!!! MORE PICS MORE PICS!!!

You are one lucky lady!!

Mine finished a week early (one month quote, ready in 3 weeks), but it was a fairly simple project.

megeve - Wow, I cannot wait to see more pics of that beauty!!

Ltlfirecracker, I just have to say, I ran across your wedding dress photo and you are going to be a stunning bride! Your dress is beautiful and you look beautiful in it!

Though I share many of your esthetic preferences, I tend to like slightly chunkier rings for the added presence, in many ways your original ring is *my* dream style! haha. I hope the version 2.0 really meets your desires. And put away the loupe.

Megeve that is AMAZING! What are the specs? Where did you ge tthe stone? I am dying here!

Thank you. The shop told the dress is supposed to come in this week. Waiting for the call. I hope it won''t be late.

As for the ring. I got the 1 sided pave. It is going to be 2.2mm wide with no milgrian. I could not handle 3 sided pave. I would wreak it. I promise I am not holding out on you. It just got shipped today. I live in a really small town so I had it shipped to my FI who lives 2 hours from me. I am driving up there on Thursday night. At first he told me I was not going to be allowed to see the ring until the wedding day. You can read all about that in my e-ring thread. I talked to him tonight and finally talked him out of holding it hostage. I told him it was unfair to not let me see a ring I never saw in person, and he told me I was right. I hope to snap a few pictures on Friday morning, but we are heading to CA on Friday afternoon and I will be super busy. So at the best pics this weekend, at the worst early next week.

Oh and the reason I am up is because there is a crazy storm and lightening. I think the city is going to flood (it often does in this weather). Lets hope this does not happen Thursday

megeve - your ring is GORGEOUS! I can''t wait to see hand pics!

Everyone else - I just signed and returned my work order. Let the 6 weeks count down begin.

Dreamer_d - I wrote a longer response to you but PS ate it and too tired to type it up again.

Then I will fill in the blanks and imagine that you told me I am super cool and a genius and that I am so funny too, and so I shall just say thank you.

Hey, congrats Charmy!!!

Way cool, Charmy! I hope the wait is easy for you! I can''t wait to see it.

Ltlfirecracker, just bring your ring to CA, I can see it here!
31.gif
I hope you don''t get flooding, that is scary! I will go back and read your engagement ring thread again. You must have posted it
since I have been there. How much longer until your big day? We have had crazy cool weather here in southern CA and I don''t think it is supposed to warm up until memorial day. Hopefully by then
we will get some nice weather for your trip.

Congrats Charmy!! What kind of design did you end up with?

I just talked to Rachel, she said it''s on schedule....prob. about 2 more weeks. I guess that''s about 6 weeks schedule! She''s supposed to send me an E-mail about it on Friday, we''ll see!

It''s funny first 3-4 weeks were OK(well, I did buy a bracelet and earrings
41.gif
), but this last 2 weeks are really tough! Good thing we are going to see my husband''s family over the weekend (5 hours drive with a baby is not fun though), that will take my mind off from thinking about the arrival of the ring!

megeve,

That is a one GORGEOUS ring!! I love the yellow diamond with Halo
