So I took the test (very easy to go from a 59% to an 85% with just a couple of answers changed!) but......*gasp*.......HORRORS.......my true snobbery came out when I realized I couldn''t lend the test another moment''s credibility because of a SPELLING ERROR!!! It spelled niece NEICE!!!! "i" before "e" PBS, "i" before "e."

rod...first...and always most importantly (even tho'' some of us don''t think about it much...is our health..)....congratulations on your accomplishments. keep goin'' crazy on your workouts. make up for all you''ve never really had (from what i''ve gotten from some of your ''health'' posts...)...the more you accomplish, like runnin'' ...and runnin''....and runnin''....the more you will feel soooo much better about yourself. gosh, congratulations rod! and, i gotta comment here on the age deal...you bustin'' your butt...literally...and runnin'' your butt off.....lol...literally....and you''re over fifty? awesome....i''m in my early forties...and, most of my life i''ve been in pretty damn good shape (workin'' out....a long distance runner...blah blah...). anyhow, my point here is that up until my late thirties i really never had body aches, etc...but, 39...40...41..42...and now at 43, our bodies change. you wake up in the mornin'', and i don''t care WHAT shape you think you''re in....lol....you just ache. it''s the neck, back, knees, ankles...gosh! ..so, anyhow...i''m writing this because my gosh...you''re fifty and rockin'' and rollin''! sooo......bravo rod! whew....where was i? lol.....

oh, thanks for addin'' here....your opinion of what''s goin'' on with me. i don''t wanna ''hijack'' your conversation here (i''m still learin'' the speak around here), but wanted to thank you for your words of encouragement! gosh...i just really listen to what you''ve written to me and shared on my ''threads''...stories. thank you.

now........a beatles wig? yeah man, lol...you''re over fifty! lol....(okay, why do i feel like i''m gonna never hear the end of that comment? ..lol...) you''re right rod, you''ve probably outdone most of us with that one.....so, which beatle was it? lol.......(i know, i know, their hair looked the same...)

Lorelei.......Sorry, no pics. Fortunately, my mother was NOT a picture taker!! LOL. The wig was utterly goofy, but I had to have it. I'm not sure it was modeled after a particular Beatle. I think it was just a Beatle Wig. It didn't even resemble hair, it was basically fuzz, but I knew I was so cool when I wore it (NOT!). Looking back, I realize I was a fat kid with fuzz on my head and looked like a baffoon!!

Ron........Thanks for the words of fitness encouragement. I feel better at 51 than I did at 30. I know what you mean about the aches and pains, but honestly, since losing the weight and tightening the back and stomach muscles, I'm more pain free today. I've tried, on a couple of occassions, to lift more weight than my muscles felt prudent, so they've rewarded with the need to visit the orthopaedist a couple of times. I was afraid I'd torn my rotator cuff (pretty common in my age group), but it was just angry I had awakened it from a deep slumber.

Anyway, you all take care. I have to miss two nights of workouts. Am heading to Chicago today. Then on to New York and home Wednesday. Business travel sucks
