The whole stretch of coastline is considered the Amalfi Coast. I''ll dig around and see if I can find anymore that turned out nicely. I''m sure I have a few.Date: 4/1/2008 1:33:08 PM

Wow... so beautiful.... I would love to go on a trip like that...
Do you have any photos of the Almafi coast?
I LOVED Positano, and would do it again in a heartbeat! I also really loved Florence, and wished we could have had time to go to the Lake Garda, and a few of the other Italian great lakes. We''ll probably go to the north the next time we go to Europe, which is probably next year.Date: 4/1/2008 1:37:43 PM

Lauren great pictures; they bring back some lovely memories of our honeymoon, thanks! My favorite city''s when we went were the Amalfi coast, Rome, Como and Florence; Italy is just so dang romantic and the food is out of this world!!Glad you had a wonderful time!!! Did you go to Pompeii? Hubby did the top of the Duomo in Florence; I could only do half ways as I was too claustrophobic. hehe
DO IT! This was like our belated honeymoon, and it was phenomenal!Date: 4/1/2008 1:54:23 PM

Beautiful photos! Would you mind sharing where you stayed in each place you visited? If not, then I understand. I just want FI to consider Italy for a honeymoon, so I thought I''d show him the photos and try to convince him.Sorry if you already said and I missed it!
ETA: Never mind!! I found it on your first post, silly me, I was so excited looking at pictures that I missed it.

We also didn''t make it to Pompeii or Hurculaneum (sp.) because we were only in Positano 2 nights. If I could do it over again, I would have spent those 3 days we spent near Arezzo in Amalfi.
Next time.

Thaks so much for sharing those pics. I am enjoying Italy vicariously through you! My bf has been 5 times but I have yet to go... But obvi he has had his fair share for now and has a lot of other places he wants us to go. My only shot would be to get married there, but we are even reconsidering that now... Out of curiousity... How was the exchange? Did you find everything to be off the wall expensive?
We didn''t make it to Milan, but I think if we ever go to Italy again, it will be the north - Milan, Como, Gardo, and Venice.Date: 4/1/2008 3:10:58 PM

Our balcony.
Lauren, I am glad you said that; I was thinking am I the only one that thought it was a bit expensive!?!? I mean we planned that it would be a lot more expensive but for a casual lunch everyday w/out drinks it was $75-$80 and $120 or more for dinner which was somewhat casual too!! Paris was a bit cheaper than Barcelona for some reasonDate: 4/1/2008 4:36:08 PM

We thought we were spending about $5k, and ended up spending about $7,500 all told in hotels, food, car rental, airfare, etc.
It was completely worth it, though. Completely!
