Beautiful Sunsets...

Here are a few from me.




This one is of a Moorea sunset (Tahiti islands)...I have it as my desktop image and love the rich colors...we were going to Moorea for our honeymoon next year, but since we decided to get into a house early next year...have decided to shelve the Moorea trip and just opt to say in Kauai for another week to save $$. However we''d love to get to Moorea soon, the pictures are amazing and it''s cheaper than alot of the other Tahiti islands.

Mara, those Moorea sunsets are fiery. Wow!

Arent they amazing? I have always been a fan of the pinks and blues but I saw those pictures and nearly swooned. Such colors!! The first one is my favorite..I love the big puffy clouds and what they seem to add..the second one is just a beautiful fireball...can't even imagine seeing that in person!

Is3--that looks like something out of a movie! When people saw our sunset picture (the one I posted), they accused us of scanning a postcard!

Hawaiian sunsets are beautiful as well--similar to ours here in CA I think..with the more mild colors. The Tahitian area seems to get those bursts of colors. Anyone else got some cool sunsets?

Funny thing, Mara, the picture, while I think is beautiful, is actually not a true depiction of the colors I viewed that day. It definitely had more vibrant pink hues that you speak of. Somehow the lens picked up more of an orangey color. Beautiful nonetheless, tho, huh?

i have a few great ones that i took while on vacation in florida, but here is one basically out my back door. This is the Basillica in St. Paul, Minnesota. I took it a couple weeks ago...also attempted to place as my avatar. doesn't work well though, so i think i am going to change it.

A couple weeks ago we had a couple very unique sunrises which had orange, yellow and some shades of pink mixed. I wish I had a high quality camera to capture the real beauty...

We actually saw a very beautiful one last nite in Aptos, CA, the jeweler is right across from a beach, so we just caught the sunset across the ocean, so pretty.

No camera with us though!
