NF, did you get an US in the end?? I might have missed your post-I''m sorry if I have!

So I am now 13 weeks and if anything the morning sickness and tiredness appear to be getting worse. Did anyone else get this and still have a good second trimester? I don''t throw up much but I really have constant nausea. Ugh. I''m sure it will settle down but I just don''t know if I''ll be able to keep working to 38 weeks if it doesn''t!

On the plus side, we''ve had some fun telling people. Reactions have been almost entirely positive, which is great. I''m hoping to have some photos for the nursery thread soon!

Hi gals

So i gave in and had a small glass of wine last night to entice sleep--after a literally sleepless friday night (maybe 30 min total) i gave in--figure it is a little better than drugs and more fun and it did work to relax me and i got some zzzzs--of course Co work up less than 3 hours after his ''goodnight'' feed. I thought most of the alcohol would be out of my system by his 2am-ish feeding, but of course he foiled that plan!

good thing too b/c i have my ''welcome Cohen'' baby shower today--it''s raining and the event is at my family cottage so it''s too bad we can''t hang out outside, but it should be fun nonetheless--i''ll post pics later tonight maybe.

Gemma: Can you believe that I still have not even had my first appointment??? I will make my appeal then, it's on the 29th. They didn't even want to see me until I was 8 weeks, then couldn't get me in until I was almost 9 weeks. They didn't even want me to come into confirm the pregnancy, they said there was no need if I had 2 strong positive HPT's. Thanks for the thoughts though!

TGal: It's amazing how much cuter Amelia is getting even when she was adorable to begin with. And you can totally see a bit of Korean peeking out from her eyes.

Jas: Your belly pics are adorable and you look fantastic. Don't let anyone rain on your parade! You don't even look like you've gained weight except in your belly!

Jas12: That picture of you and Cohen is adorable. And you look very put together, especially for a new mom who hasn't slept!!!!!

So I decided to listen to the babies'' heartrates this morning (they''re so much easier to find now, although baby B still moves away from the doppler as quickly as s/he can) -- and guess what? They flip-flopped h/r''s! Baby A has always been the lower of the two and Baby B has been higher, although they''ve both changed of course over time -- well, today baby B was lower... I''m pretty sure they were both awake before I listened but i wasn''t paying that much attention -- baby B was very active once the doppler was in use That''s gonna be one squirmy baby! So here''s their h/r''s so far (the others are all from the dr''s office):

7 wks: Baby A: 132 Baby B: 143
10 wks: Baby A: 157 Baby B: 173
13 wks: Baby A: 156 Baby B: 160
15.5wks: Baby A: 150 Baby B: 148

Just thought that was interesting... anyone care to take any gender guesses?? We are hoping to find out their genders on Thursday if they cooperate!

Jake loves the miracle blanket. I only use it at night because I don't want him to have to have it to sleep. I need him to be able to nap anywhere. The first night he slept 4 hours straigt and last night he did 5 straight. I left him wrapped up, fed him and he went back to sleep until 7:00am so only one feeding last night.

He is adorable. and precious. I love when they are wrapped up like that. When my first grandson was born, my brother said he looked like a weeble wobble. Remember those little toys. HA!! Ryan did remind us of those.

Amelia and Jake pics tonight! Yay! how cute--i have a special place in my PS heart for these babies since they were all born so close together--i feel like all our kids should be best friends or something

My baby shower was a lot of fun and Cohen was amazing--i fed him before leaving for my cottage and he went from 1:30 to 6pm with not a peep--he just went from person to person as happy as a clam and slept in various arms for little cat naps--suffice to say he was as grumpy as can be an hour ago as i got him to bed--tiring day being the center of attention.

1st one: heading out the door--had to get a pic in his outfit in case he pooped/peed/pukey--but nope, he got thru the afternoon

I''m now in my 4th day of false labour (contractions that don''t build up or achieve anything, on and off) so I''m seeing a consultant obs this afternoon. My due date is actually tomorrow, so we''ll see. I''m still hopeful for a non medical birth at the midwife clinic, but I''ll know more after my appointment today.

I''ll let you know asap if there is a baby anytime soon- I was SO sure it was going to happen last night, but nope!

I cant believe how quickly this board moves these days! I didnt really read much, i skimmed and looked at pics of these adorable babies. The twins are so adorable! And so is Amelia and the little guy all bundled up makes me kind of remember the days when my little guy was that small (although i barely remember it due to lack of sleep!)

Mrs M- Hope we dont hear from you for a day or two because those false labors have become real labor!

lili- that picture brought a smile to my face!

JackieJas- you look awesome! glad your day went so well. And your guy is so handsome!

My current dilema is that we are flying into Chicago and spending time with my family in Wisconsin and then spending a few days in Chicago for Ian's first Cubs game and a good friend of mines wedding. All that sounds great, except that I am terrified of flying with him. He has become such a loud, strongwilled little guy. Which is good and great, but we didnt get him a seat and I am just thinking of how horrible this could all go. I have no idea why we didnt get him a seat. Probably because we booked when he was about 2 months old and had no idea he would be a 22lb 8 month old. We leave tuesday so send quiet flying vibes my way.

MrsM--hang in there--i had false labor on and off for nearly 2 weeks! It is frustrating, but at least you know that your body is up to something, i hope you get the birth you want.
I think it was worth the agonizing 2-weeks-overdue wait, just try to get some rest and stay positive.

Jas, I''m sure I''m interrupting your pics postings, but I''ll comment on them now anyway -- GORGEOUS! You, your mom, your sister, Cohen -- all beautiful! And the shower decor itself was just to die for. Co is definitely starting to change now, huh? He looks so different to me now from the first pics we saw of him! Such a cutie. Glad he was so cooperative for his party! Isn''t it great when your kid behaves exactly the way you want him/her to for other people? I''ve definitely had those days when I know people were like "WoW! Ella''s got the best babies!" and then there are the other days ... and holy crap, are those bad.

And TGal, I love your little Amelia. Her expressions in pics are very "mature" for such a little babe! She looks like a character for sure. I love seeing how she''s changing, too. Such a beautiful little girl!

Lili, that photo of Jadelyn is priceless! K had crazy hair too when she was a newborn, but it all fell out EXCEPT for the front part -- she''s totally got a combover, it''s so funny looking!

MsF and MrsS, love them boys!! Glad Jake and Amelia are doing well with the Miracle Blankets - I loved ours. Gabe starting busting out though at about 3.5-4 months I think, when he was probably about 14-15 lbs (?), so I don''t know how long Jake will last in them, since he''s a big guy.

Gemma, awww, hope you feel better soon! I had no m/s at all so I can''t comment from experience, but I think yours will go away soon and you will have a great second tri. It''s pretty uncommon to feel like poop the entire time!

Neatfreak, yeah, I think a lot of dr''s offices won''t have you come in for a blood test to confirm pregnancy - mine wouldn''t see me until I was 10 weeks along. If a HPT says you''re preggo, then you''re preggo! It sucks having to wait for that first appt (I remember it well!), but soon enough you will be like, "I can''t believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by!" (until the end of the third trimester, that is

Ella--Cohen loooks SO different in pictures!! He looks more masculine or something, in person he is much more baby-like, but iam not sure why that is.

Gemma~My M/S didn't subside until about 15 weeks. Everyone kept telling me 12 weeks was the "magic number" but that didn't happen for me. I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon!

Neatfreak~my doc wouldn't see me until 11 weeks. When I asked if I should at least take another home test to confirm they said no need.

Jen~I am going to be optimistic and say TWO GIRLS!!!!

So sorry for anyone I missed!! Tayva had a TERRIBLE night last night. She must have felt awful because she was screaming and vomiting (it wasn't spit up: thick consistency, too much of it and an actual vomit smell). I am hopeful that the new doc can help. I was crying with her by 4 am. Be back with an update.
