Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Thanks LIA,!

Congrats!! mela lu we were one-shot wonders also!

Thanks Kaleigh!

Curly ~Thanks for complimenting T...and for keeping everything crossed! We need all the help we can get!
2.gif

Tacori~ Sounds like such a fun trip!! I can't wait to see pics of Tessa in action. I can totally relate to being scared of burn. I don't want to use sunscreen because doc said to wait until 6 months, but I also don't want my poor baby to burn!! We went to a baseball game the other night and I was a wreck worried about whether she was in the shade. My mom wanted to punch me I'm sure!
3.gif
Oh, and my SIL got these cool gates (weren't the ugly plastic type) that work well. I'll have to ask her where she got them!

Tgal Thanks!! I do the same thing with sleep. When T's down, I tend to want to get everything done and have "me" time. But, I'm learning to try and let things go. (I'm anal about having things in "order" around the house
20.gif
) Since I've been back to work, I've been trying to be in bed by 10 or 10:30.

Kay~Thanks! I wore the bella band for my entire pregnancy but I also bought some maternity dress pants at Gap. They have longs (online only). For jeans, I just bought a little bigger size of my normal jeans and wore them bellow my belly.

MMMD Thank you!! That is so sweet of you!

Jackie Jas~Thanks! She is doing A LOT better.

Ella~ YUCK!! So sorry you and the babes aren't feeling well. Hope you feel better soon!

Page 275...

Diver -- your husband''s taste in watches is exquisite. LOL. Reminds me when I would call home after getting a gift from my parents. Invariably my dad would answer the phone. I would thank him profusely and he would warmly say, "You''re welcome. What did I get you?"
3.gif
I hope that D''s case of diaper rash is clearing up. I can''t imagine that''s any fun. I''m sorry your DH was giving you an Oscar-worthy performance, but I must say that I giggled at your recounting.

Tgal -- my goodness, your husband with the drama, too? Sheesh. So sorry! (But again, because I can sorta relate, I did get the giggles reading the story)

Litchick -- I am anti-juice in general, especially apple juice...I will occasionally drink OJ, but I''d rather eat fruit. I want to keep my kids faaaar away from Apple Juice! I might as well give em a pixie stick. Again, that''s my opinion and other''s mileage may vary.

Ella -- ok, your hubby too? Good thing I missed this day of posting or you''d all have gotten a tome. I''m so glad Gabe''s procedure went well. Is he healing up?

Mrssalvo -- hooray for baby Adena! Congratulations!

Back later! Apparently I have to eat carrot cake for Ellen

Just a quick post to say to the twin mommies-to-be, THIS is what makes it all worth it, so hang in there!!

OH Ella, the babies are ADORABLE!!!! Just look at those smiles

Linda

aww Ella, such a great photo! You get all the great action shots! Hope both your babies (and you) feel better soon!

Yes, TGuy is gone for the next 10 days and no I will not have any help. I''m used to doing it all on my own anyway (he does help, but I pretty well manage by myself during the day and she goes to bed by 8).

Tacori, can''t wait to see whatever pro pics you get! And glad you both had such a good time at the beach.

Jackie, your inlaws sound like something out of a movie. That''s awful what is in that baby book!

Burk, still going well with the feedings?

With TGuy out of town now, I''m thinking of visiting a friend up in Central Cali. It''s a 3 hour drive and I''m a little nervous to do it myself, but I figure getting out of the house might be good for everyone!

Yay!!! I can''t wait. They are seriously adorable Ellaila! We''ll have to get them all together sometime next summer. I''m from MA and my parents still live there, so I am sure we''ll be out that way all the time.

OMG! I laughed out loud when I saw this pic. It looks like they are singing and dancing! That is one of the cutest things I''ve ever seen!!!!

ella, what a photo!!! It is soooo cute and really shows off their personalities! So glad you captured this perfect moment!
emlove.gif

Aw, thanks guys! I'm a proud mama of these guys, for sure! They really are so much fun now - I had a great time with a photo shoot today. I will likely post a few more pics later too because they really were just extra-cute today (snotty noses and all!)

TGal, good for you for being so confident! I used to get so frustrated with this other mom that I knew that was just so chickens*it about doing anything alone with the babies. And I've got a friend who cannot leave her 20-month-old son at home alone with his dad. Drives me nuts!! I mean, the kid walks, he talks, he's not a "scary" newborn anymore, you know? Yes, taking care of babies can be hard, but it's not exactly rocket science. And if one hour/day goes horribly awry ... well, soon it will be a new day and you just start fresh!

NF, where in MA are you from?

And not that I'm defending my hubby for leaving K alone, but he swears it was only for like two minutes so I just had to put that out there so no one thinks he's like Worst Father of the Year. So I don't think I'll call DSS on him just yet. But I very clearly state "WATCH the babies. I mean it. WATCH them." now when I leave them with him!

Jas and Diver, kinda gross question, but when you clean butts with a wet cloth, what do you do with super poopy ones?

Ella,
That''s the cutest pic!!!!! They are absolutely adorable!!

Ella, what an adorable picture! They are so cute! Thanks for sharing!

kay, good luck with your u/s tomorrow! I'm sure it'll be so much fun to see your little girl!

My big u/s is in 3 days and I cannot wait!!!!! I am so excited!!! I'm also a little sad it'll probably be my last u/s of my pregnancy. We'll probably bring our camcorder in there so we can watch it whenever we want. We might not be allowed to record it though.

NF, where in MA are you from?

From the Berkshires originally then went to college and lived in Amherst for awhile before I moved out here. And if you need a babysitter my little sister lives in Boston.

please do post more pictures! more more more!! i love baby pictures.

kay, can''t wait to hear about the u/s (and see pics!!) tomorrow!
snlee: 3 days!!! so exciting!!!!!

Back from the awesome GTG -- more on that later.

Okey dokey, page 276

Sk8rJen -- Holy crap! Congratulations! Team pink! I''m so happy for you! Your gals and my boys will definitely have to meet! I literally squealed when I read that!
curlygirl -- yea on the anatomy scan, but please excuse me while I glare at you a minute for only gaining 6 pounds at 22 weeks. I''m at 23 weeks and up a delightful 26 pounds! Hooray for walking pictures!
Tgal -- it seems there is real positive progress on the sleeping front! Yea! I''m sure you''ll do just great on your own next week...or is it this week. We''re all here as a virtual support system!
mrssalvo -- the cousins picture is too cute! Amazing how big lil'' Jake seems!
diver -- ahh, more pictures! Love em! I am sad to keep reading that the diaper rash is still raging...let''s hope for better things on page 277.

I''m off to watch the first half of the Andromeda Strain so I can watch part 2 w/ DH tonight. BBL

Allow me to interrupt my own posting to tell you that my husband can be a giant dingaling. I love the man, but in an effort to keep his family updated on baby stuff (cuz yesterday someone in his family screamed at me for not telling her directly that it was two boys...she heard it at the beauty parlor???), he sent a huge blast email with the latest and greatest on the bambinos.

And, unbeknownst to me, he attached a goofball picture of me we took a few days ago. Please note I was screwing around and being silly, trying to do my version of a pinup picture (whilst grabbing my belly)

I am so not going to the next family reunion. I told DH he must get not only my permission to send out my picture, but also the express written consent of Major League Baseball.

Really, do I want all my inlaws thinking I''m on crack?

LMAO.

Burk
Tayva is such a girlie girl
5.gif

And so pretty -- takes after her mommy.
Thanks for sharing the cute pictures.
Love her hat.
And wow for her height. Can't believe she's only 4 months old.
My nephew is around there and he's 1 yr!!

Is her reflux finally under control?
How can you tell if your child is suffering from reflux instead of just your normal baby spit up?

msb
ahh, sorry to hear that little K has turned into a nite owl again.
has he been waking up from his sleep or is he sleeping more in the day and can''t sleep at night?
hope things get back to normal for you.

Jas12
Whoever Co takes after, he''s going to be a gorgeous boy since both you and Charlie are so good looking
2.gif

Any more recent pix of the handsome boy?

I am a night owl, so I turn in pretty late.
Since Jadie doesn''t go to sleep until 11 or 12ish and because I need to have some me time after tending to her the whole day,
I don''t usually go to sleep until 2 am.

I tried putting her down earlier, but no such luck.
I''m starting to sense that it''s payback time for me since I had such a easy pregnancy and delivery

Congrats and welcome mela lu

Lots of sticky dust shooting out your way!

Curly
I love it when a child is a splitting image of his/her parents.
It''s sooo cute to see a "mini-me" of someone running around.
I bet your hubby is doting over Lily
5.gif

Maybe the second one will be a mini-me of you

Tacori
Sounds like you and Tessa had a relaxing and fun-filled weekend.
Can't wait to see the pictures!!

That's great about finding an alternative photographer and at a cheaper price too.
Hurry and book it so that we can see more of that little beauty!

And how lucky that T has long lashes.
I'm sure she's the envy of every ladies on here

Ella--I just can''t get over how time flies--i still remember when you posted that your water broke and now K and G look like little ppl and not teeny tiny newborns anymore.
As for poop and cloth wipes-- I always take the bulk of the poop off with a kleenex and just toss it and the cloth is just to clean the bum. BUT, i am still in the ''mustard poop'' stage so i''ll let u know how it works when i get some, um, substance lol

LC--i thought i would like the boobage that comes along with BF--but nope, i am with you, i would rather my small boobies back. But since i plan to BF for a year i am stuck with em. I think what i dislike the most is that none of my old tops seem to fit like they used too--i look like iam about to leave dressed for a hot saturday night instead of doing groceries on sunday morning or something.

Lili--2am! I would be totally shocked if not for the fact that it usually takes me till then to fall asleep ( i am still having off and on insomnia issues) and i go to bed 10ish.
Cohen used to go to sleep at 12 as well-- i slowly worked it up by a 1/2 hour until the 8:30 mark, but don''t do it if the 12am time is working for you. I thought maybe Cohen would nap more with the new bedtime but as you know that theory is crap.
thanks for the nice compliments about Cohen, i''ll try to post some new pics soon. I luv the ''wailing Jadie pic'' now post a happy pic as well pretty please!

Jas--you crack me up--i would totally kill my Charlie if he sent ANY pic of me that wasn''t pre-approved.

So all you twin mommies to be--i have 5 year old twin girls visit me this aft--they were busy, busy, but so cute. the one thing that can be a big issue with young twins (and i''ve seen many cases of it as a teacher) is language development. Sasha and Abby (the twins) speak at a 3-4 year old level of development. They had their own shared language for so long, interaction with adults is behind and i think they''ll have some struggles in school. My co-worker with twin boys has them enrolled with a speech pathologist for this reason and they are doing well now.

My house is a disaster--must do something to make myself feel like my life has some semblance of order. How do you moms with 2, 3, 4, kids do it--i am a sucky housewife (ew, i hate that term) off to fold stuff.

Okay, here are some Tessa pics from this weekend.

First time in the sand...

n736923463_498638_8420.jpg

I thought this was a cute picture. Her feet are so tiny.

n736923463_498640_9035.jpg

Ignore the sand on her face. Yes, we brought the Bumbo.

n736923463_498660_2589.jpg

The beach is SO exhausting! She really did sleep like that. She is already a drama queen!

Tacori,
Love the pics of Miss Tessa, looks like she loved the beach. I love the sandy piggy toes, too cute!!!
