NYC, yay for passing your test!!!

Court, sorry you''re in so much pain
8.gif
Big ditto! And Court, I hope you get some answers! It is totally possible it has something to do with the position of the baby at this point, aggravating a tender spot or something. I know when I was in such pain for 5 weeks it was aweful, and now baby moved and *poof*, pain free. Hope its the same for you!

just wanted to pop in quick and say CONGRATS Ebree!!!!!!!!! You''ve been holding out!!!! When is your due date? July? I followed your story over in TTC, so it''s great to hear the exciting news!!!

Hey DD - Don''t mean to harass ya, but I don''t know if you saw my question for you in my earlier post - I''m not sure, but I''d like your input.

What anti-anxiety meds did your friends take while prego? How did they decide on those meds?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry, meant to respond! Unfortunately, I am not close enough with these friends to actually ask them!
15.gif
What I do know from Pandora and from Lisa (I miss her!) is that they don''t like you to be on anything prior to 12 weeks... but I think both of them eventually went back onto antidepressants, which are *similar*. After the first trimester all the body parts are organs etc are created and are just growing for the rest of pregnany--and growing and growing and growing for some of us
3.gif
. So it becomes a bit of a cost-benefit analysis for every individual. If anxiety is severly hampering your life, then the small risk of meds may not matter. I totally think mamma state of mind matters, since it will not only affect your pregancy but how you feel as a new mom too! I''m sure your doctor or OB or psychiatrist can answer questions about it for you!

As an aside, it seems to me that most women here have found that their worries and anxiety decreased a tonne as they passed the 12 week mark and then steadily decreased after that. For me, I was a little... well poopy feeling... until probably 14 or 16 weeks? So even if it turns out that you are not comfortable with meds, then I would wager that your will feel steadily better as the weeks progress and the whole thing feels more secure. You mentioned that getting past the CVS helped, right?

littlelysser, cdt, dreamer, Festy, Mandarine, and mela,

Thank you all so much! Your support means (and has meant) the world to me. I know, I waited a little longer than most to spill the beans, but I kept getting cold feet. That, and I've been pretty busy with moving stuff- DH and I found a great house in the 'burbs and we move in 10 days! Eeeek! So much to do.

As for details, I got my BFP the morning of Halloween. I wasn't expecting it at all, and just took it half-heartedly because I was planning to have a big cocktail (or seven!
3.gif
) that night. Long story short, I've had both the NT scan (and bloodwork) and the 'big' ultrasound and so far, HE looks healthy and right on target. Each day and with each kick I feel more and more comfortable, and reaching the 20 week milestone is a pretty fabulous thing to experience.

Eeeeeee!

Thank you! DH and I are both over the moon excited and in love. Neither of us had a preference, but I''d had a blue inkling since about 9 weeks. We got a ''possibly boy'' at the NT scan, and a DEFINITELY boy at the big US at 18w6d! There''s no doubt about it- we got THE shot!

My EDD is July 9, but I''ve had several people ask if I think it''ll be a July 4th baby. People seem to like the idea of Holiday babies!

Why thank you, almost due date twin! IRL, I went public to family at 15 weeks, and told my best friends two days before the big ultrasound (my Dad put something about it on his Facebook account and outed me!).

As for names, we both love Henry, and others on the list are: Theodore, Oliver, and Edward. I just found out that Edward is the name of the vampire in Twilight (I think?), so I don't know if we'd go that route with the book and movie being so popular (though I still love the name).

ETA: By the way, someone in one of my due date communities posted her name list, and Desmond was one of her top choices! It made me think of you. Someone called the name "dashing," and I thought that was a pretty good adj. for it!

Great names! I''m seriously bouncing up and down in my seat excited for you! I emailed DH at work to tell him.

LOVE your names Ebree!!!!

Awe, thanks! I think we''ve decided to go in with about 3 names on each list and pick once we see the baby. Boy names right now are Desmond, Maxwell and Nathan all with mn Jack. Girl names are Lydia, Lillian and Ellianora (I''m not sure how much I''m feeling this one even though I love all the nn options) all with the mn Grace. I used to want to discuss baby names with DH all the time and now I''m just kind of over it. I hope we just *know* what the baby''s name is when we see it because I don''t think I can take much more name debating.

Do you have any bump pics, Ebree?

Thank you, mela! Are you still considering Luna Valentina? I thought I remembered your husband nixing Rockwell- do you have any favorite boy names?

Robbie- I love all of your names. Are Desmond and Lydia the favorites? I like that they're both relatively uncommon.

I do have a bump pic, but it's from 16w2d. I need to take a new one today- I'll see if DH will do it on his lunch break.

Here's the older one. I was still in my pre-preg jeans, but just barely. I had to use a hair band to keep the button closed!

Yes! Only I tested at night and my very first post in here was asking how to interpret the line because I couldn''t believe it.

How exciting!

So have you been feeling kicks for a while or just recently?

Cute bump! I can''t wait to see the update because I''m sure it''s changed a lot in a month! Desmond and Lydia are the current faves and they have been for a while, but we change our minds a lot, lol.

So have you been feeling kicks for a while or just recently?

I started feeling movement in the middle of week 15, and he really started to kick toward the middle of week 18. DH felt the kicks on the outside for the first time on Valentine's Day (awww), but I'd been able to feel them (on the outside) for a few days before. I have the kind of placenta that allows for early feeling- posterior, I think?

Robbie: Thanks! Hopefully I'll have an updated one up soon.

ETA: GREAT belly shot Ebree! Congrats on le kicking too!

Heya! Thanks for asking about my names
32.gif
a constant source of agony for me. lol.

DH is MEGA-SOLD-touch-wood-STAMPED-and-CALLED on "Luna". mn is still looking like "Valentina Lavender" (initials would be LVLG). This is only because DH veto's all my other girl names.
29.gif

Boy is *probably* Romeo. mn is probably Christian. Again because we can't 'agree' on any others.

I LOVE Rockwell. He...not so much. We both love Wolfgang but want to save it for another boy.
