Mandarine, on my form it said to allow 1.5 hours for the whole appointment and 45 mins for the actual ultrasound. GOOD LUCK!!! I'm really nervous that at mine they will find some devastating anomaly even though everything has looked good up 'til now. On the upside, I've heard that the appointment is really cool. It's a super neat tour of your babies' anatomy. Let me know if you find out the positions of the placentas.

Mandarine, a fetal echocardiogram is an ultrasound, but it really focuses on cardiac anatomy and is not usually done in singleton gestations unless there is a suspected problem. They probably do it for multiple pregnancies because heart defects are the most common birth defect and we have X number of babies multiplied by X number of potential problems. I probably shouldn''t think of it that way because that''s what''s stressing me out.
You should take a look at your hospital''s prenatal class schedule because maybe they do have a multiples class! Mine even has a breastfeeding twins class, which is awesome but it''s only 2 hours long so I''m sure I''ll need other resources too.
Robbie, I emailed the Moms of Multiples group a while ago, but they never got back to me. I just tried again though, and someone wrote back! Yay! She asked me how old my twins are. I will write back and tell her that they''re negative five months, lol.
