My pregnant tip of the day to anyone who cares...don''t let yourself get to the point that you are starving or you will NEVER stop eating! Today I only had a small bowel of cereal, and then I went to the gym, and then I went to the pool since it''s actually NICE out for once! I came home and was sooooo famished, and I haven''t been able to stop eating since! No wonder I look just as big as Robbie even though I''m a month behind....Anyway, here''s my contribution to bpf, taken yesterday when I actually did my hair/makeup to go to the Navy function.

I wanted to let you know that I had followed your story since I lurked on this thread. I hope that things have gotten a bit easier for you and your DH. I realize that you are still grieving, but about a month ago, you had a very positive outlook. I thought it was great that you both were doing what you needed to in order to get yourselves in the right place again. I wish you and your DH all the best and hope you can join us on this thread again very soon!

Oh, I think I''m ready to start my "what are the sexes" poll since we find out in less than a week. Just so you gals feel like you have all of the information (of course, that will make it soooo much more scientific), here is everything I can think of:
Conception details
I was on Clomid (50mg); this is supposed to make CM more hostile to sperm over time but we used Preseed and Robitussin and it was our first month
Both kiddos were ovulated from the left side and implanted on opposite sides of the uterus
My chart is attached
Pregnancy details
I had moderate to severe morning sickness
Main craving was fruit
Coffee smelled delicious to me
Main food aversion was meat
Heartrates were 150 and 156 at our 12-week ultrasound
I have two sisters and a brother, and DH has two brothers. I don''t have any cousins, and DH has two male cousins on his mom''s side (we don''t know anything about his dad''s side). That''s all I can think of!

Ooooh Peony. I have no idea, but I''m so curious because I''m almost exactly the opposite for pregnancy details. Mild morning sickness, coffee smells absolutely disgusting (and I loooooved coffee pre-pregnancy), I am craving meat more than anything (and I''m a strick vegetarian). Total old wives tales. And if she''s anywhere near 10 weeks, a heartrate about 165 is normal. It tends to slow down a bit after that, so 174 could be anything if she''s near there.
The best thing about old wives tales is that they have a 50% chance of being right. People tend to overlook this and claim it as complete truth.

Went to my 2nd appt today. We saw the little bean and the hb. I am measuring the same as my LMP. I got the referral letters for the NT scan and the corresponding blood tests. My OB office will make the appt for me. I didn''t do the scan for Meena. OB said that CA mandated the 1st trimester screening (NT scan & blood tests) this past April, so everyone will get one unless you opt out.

ETA: I forgot a funny story. I have this friend, the one who outted me as being pregnant on Facebook (but only if you care to read the comments on my pictures). Her thing is that she always blurts out whatever she's thinking, and it's usually something crazy/outrageous/embarrassing. So last night we were over her place and she introduced us to a new woman. This woman and I were chatting about something totally unrelated, and all of a sudden my friend interrupted to say, "Oh, by the way, Phoenixgirl isn't fat; she's pregnant." This led to everyone else telling her how horrible that was, and me saying well, actually, I don't want people thinking I'm just fat so it's ok (but maybe it could have been phrased a little more tactfully)!

Yeah, I heard that too. This led my sister and me to believe that she was having a girl and I was having a boy (she''s 3.5 weeks ahead of me). At 12 weeks, her baby''s heart rate was 169 and mine was 144. But we''re both having girls! We were also convinced because she BDed several days before O and we BDed day of, and supposedly that is something like 80% accurate. I guess I''m the 20%!
