Hi ladies! Quick drive by posting.

Our little guy made his grand entrance into the world this afternoon at 12:20 pm. One day before his due date.

My water broke last night around midnight and after an easy labor and delivery, he came into the world weighing 7lbs 14 oz and 20 and 3/4 inches.

We think he is absolutely adorable...and are going to come decide on a name ASAP!

I''ll post a birth story and pics at some point, just wanted to update you guys!

As for ME...... TMI Alert!.... Been layin in bed restless for a while now, just boppin around online on and off while drifting in and out...Just got up to take a usual preggo pee break... and.... ''BLOODY SHOW''!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I wiped I had pink tinged bloody discharge WOOOOOOOT! lol. Ive been contracting on and off for a while now tonight (nothing regular yet...BUT WAAAAY more then I ever have so far. getting fairly freaquent...should start timing soon I guess. I know it could still be a while...but MAYBE Ill end up with an AWSOME bday present this year lol. my Bday is Sun the6th and his EDD is the 9th lol!

Sapphire yay for getting close! I hope you do get that bday present you''re hoping for. Maybe even an early one!


As for me, started to feel pain like in my pubic bone yesterday. And my hips are starting to ache. I know the hips aching are them stretching out, but I haven''t figured out what the pubic bone area pain is. Any ideas? I''m 29 weeks today! I can not believe next week I''m at 30. This is going so fast!

So how important is the hospital tour? My husband and I were looking into this and got word that the hospital is completely booked for tours until 11/4. I''m due 11/12. I need to check to see if they have a waiting list or something for a different date--I will definitely talk to my doctor about this on Tuesday when I see him.

I guess that is what I get for completely forgetting about this part and waiting til 10 weeks until my due date to book.

Tao- um, yeah...DH and I JUST booked our hospital tour/birthing class for Sept. 26th...baby''s due date is Oct. 8th

! If she beats us to it, oh well. Baby''s gonna get out one way or another, right?

Sunkist- I had horrible pubic pain start right about that time. Everyone IRL kept saying "oh, the pressure" and it drove me crazy because it was NOT pressure, more like the bones splitting apart right where they meet in the center. Turns out that''s exactly what it is! My doc said all women''s ligaments loosen and allow the pelvis to spread, but for some it happens more quickly and results in lots of pain. She also said there''s not much to do for it but Motrin after the baby is born. She did show me a "vulvar support garment" online, but I did not order it. A lot of nights I came home from work and laid on the couch spread-eagled with an ice pack right in my crotch- lovely visual, huh? The pain has gotten better lately (35 weeks now) but was really excrutiating for a while. Especially when moving legs independently (in/out of car, rolling over in bed, putting on pants, etc). I hope it eases up for you soon!
