NF yes Barbara''s is pretty good, I reviewed it on Yelp... but CakeWorks in Campbell is great for supplies as well. Barbaras is PACKED with stuff but organization is very bad so it''s hard to find things. And they are cash and check only I think, and Barbara will talk your ear off. It''s very hard to get out of there with a quick visit. CakeWorks is packed with stuff, but better organized and easier to find things, and takes CC''s. I love their supply of big piping tips. Also, I think that CW has better hours? You can take classes at CW but they are just ok.

Thanks for the tips! I will have to check both out. Any idea if a double stroller would fit in either store? If not I''ll have to go when DH is home sometime...

Just a quick post to let everyone know Olivia Grace was born at 12:38 pm today. She was 6lbs 14 ozs and 20 1/2 inches. She''s perfect and we love her so much already. I am postng from an iPhone and don''t know how to add pics, but I''ll be back with pics and a birth story soon.

Congrats November! What a beautiful name. Can''t wait to see pics and hear your story.

Congratulations, November! What a beautiful name--can''t wait to meet Olivia Grace!

Congrats November!!!

Baby Weight: The wednesday before I gave birth, I had a regular DA. I asked if he would guesstimate the weight and he told me he doesn''t do it because it''s never right, even with an u/s. He said that normally the mother''s guess is more accurate than anything they can predict.

The Saturday that I gave birth--the Delivery Dr. guesstimated the baby to be between 7 and 8 lbs. He wound up being 6 lbs 11 oz.

I wouldn''t put too much stock in what the Dr. is estimating at all.

Congratulations November!!! I love her name. hope you and olivia are doing well.

Ugh - PS ate my post.

CONGRATS November!

I went to the dentist to get my toothache checked. Apparently, I need a root canal. He would give me 1.8ml of local anesthetic with 2% lidocaine and 1:100 000 epinephrine. If I chose to delay the root canal because of the pregnancy, he would prescribe a 10-day course of penicillin. I''m going to ask a pharmacist and call my doctor''s office tomorrow to figure out what I''m going to do. This sucks. I wanted a med-free pregnancy, but I end up having to get vaccinated, and now this...

ugh anchor i have not been to the dentist since way before preggo! i was slacking then and now i just don't want them to tell me i need to get a cavity filled or something and i didn't want to be given meds. so i figure i'll wait til the end of pregnancy...hoping nothing falls out in the meantime. penicillin isn't too bad though.

nf... both Barbaras and CW are really small stores, and packed with stuff all over, i don't think a double would fit... i have never even seen a single in there actually! the aisles are pretty narrow from what i recall. though maybe you could leave the stroller in the front with the kids, the shops are so tiny. imagine a small long store with one aisle on each side. if you go i'd love to hear what goodies you found haha. both are open sat only and not sunday i think btw.

congrats november!! can't wait to see photos of your precious doll.

Congrats November!!!! Welcome Olivia Grace!

Anchor- Ugh, sorry to hear about your toothache/potential root canal. I feel for you. I developed major tooth pain the week I found out I was pregnant. I tried to put off the root canal but the pain got so bad I couldn''t hold off. Dentists really want you to wait until at least your 2nd trimester, but there was no way I could wait 8 weeks. My OB said it was absolutely no problem, and just to make sure that they don''t use lidocaine with epinephrin (sp)- there is a numbing agent they can use without it. I was a wreck, felt so guilty but was in so much pain and really didn''t want to take any medication. Long story short, it was easy and I had no issues. Weirdly they prescribed me viocodin which is apparently safe (but you can''t take advil!). I didn''t take the vicodin. luckily didn''t need it. Anyways, if you can put if off, great, but if you have to get it done, you''ll be fine, especially since you are out of the first tri.

november - yay!!!! congratulations!! can''t wait to see her + read her story. and omgosh do i LOVE her name!!

Go Sunkist!!!!

Good morning ladies. Busy day planned today. I got up this morning early and watched the local news and it broke my heart to see all the people that had camped out to sign their children up for the Toys for Tots program. Every Friday, Andrew is off of school, so I plan something fun for him and I to do. I thought this could be such a great teaching moment to take him up to Target and let him pick out gifts for the children. I thought he might not want to do it since we would be giving the toys away, but he was really excited about it and even suggested some of the board games he loves to play! I am so blessed with a sweet boy

.

Here is my 29 week belly contribution. I don''t see much of a change...I weighed myself this morning for the first time this week and was surprised to see I had lost about 4 pounds since last week. I think it is just the horrible heartburn that is making me have such a hard time getting food down, especially at night. I have still been eating 3 meals a day and some string cheese and/or yogurt for snacks, so I know I am getting the calories in. Anyway, everyone have a super day!

Yay November! can''t wait to hear and see more.
Good luck Sunkist!
Amber - hope your kiddie cooperates and doesn''t want to keep you waiting too much longer!

Steph - cute belly! I wonder if you were retaining a little water last week to lose that much? At any rate, your weight gain is on track and you''re looking good. You must just have great abs.

Here''s (finally on a Friday) my BPF contribution. 24 weeks today! Oh happy day. Still sucking my gut in in this photo. Sorry for the terrible backlighting from our bedroom window. I thought it''d be a better mirror pic than in our tiny poorly lit bathroom.
