Here''s (finally on a Friday) my BPF contribution. 24 weeks today! Oh happy day. Still sucking my gut in in this photo. Sorry for the terrible backlighting from our bedroom window. I thought it''d be a better mirror pic than in our tiny poorly lit bathroom.

I just can''t get over not-pg you look! You''re still so super tiny! Even when I suck my belly in hard, I still pooch out, and I''m only 20 weeks today.

It''s visible when I let it all hang out - went out to dinner with my colleagues on Wed as my treat outing after a good doctor''s appointment that day, and they were all remarking on the fact that I''m getting bigger. I assume it''ll start to pop sometime in the next few weeks, but I''m suspecting that I''ll end up following in Steph''s tiny footsteps. I''ve got a long torso to pack her into here...

I outed myself on facebook today, infertility crap and all. I''d been thinking of waiting till 28 weeks, but decided what the hell. Hope this kiddo stays in there for another 14 weeks! And I saw on facebook last night that my slightly younger cousin (single) is also having a baby in March. Hopefully she''ll email me back soon so I can find out the story (nosy parker that I am).

It will be seriously cute to see if you ever pop out or just get a little rounder. Maybe you''ll look like those girls on I Didn''t Know I Was Pregnant!

drk--you are sooo tiny! I look like that now, at 10 weeks! You do have a long torso. lucky. I am sadly one of the short waisted ppl. Not a good look with pregnancy

Steph--you are so teeny tiny too! Looking great! Hope your HB subsides.

where are all the other bump contributions??

Congrats November!!!

Yay Sunkist!! Good luck and can''t wait to read your story and see pics!

Steph~You look great!

drk~So tiny!! I''m tall and have a long torso and lots of space for baby to go but I don''t think I was even close to that tiny at 24 weeks with my first. Lucky lady!!

I''ll take my weekly bathroom belly pic in a bit during my plan period. I don''t know that I want to post mine after tiny Steph and drk, though!

Good morning all!

We did our hospital tour this morning, pretty cut and dry. Apparently two options are removed from me: It''s a rooming in hospital, so no option to have her in the nursery, as well as they''ll immediately place her on me post birth. No biggie. My poor husband, the "dad bed" is tiny. It''s like a hard veneered bench with a padded seat. Just the seat is padded, so we''re going to have to bring some pillows of our own. The cool thing is, I can get a squatting bar or birth chair or anything I want- they have many options there for me! It''s a 12 room hospital, with my own private l&d nurse, so I''m kind of excited. I do know I''m going to get cabin fever in there, though, I can feel it already.

Hope Sunkist is doing great, and November is healing nicely!

Great bellies everyone!

Here''s my 38week contribution. I''m huge!

drk girl, i seriously cannot believe you are gestating a child in there, and only 4 weeks behind me! i am jealous of course HAHAA. i have a short torso and long legs so nowhere for belly to go but OUT. i stopped being able to suck it in at week 10 along with tossing out my regular pants!

steph you too but at least i see a bump lol. both of you gals, well less to get off later right?!?! my gut is like a big balloon.
3.gif
and it only gets bigger! hehee.

i won't be BPF today because i did it last week and i only do the photos every 4-5 weeks or so. maybe towards the end when i am growing more quickly.

i had a mcondalds sausage mcmuffin with egg today, my weakness. yum!!! i have been having like one a week since pregnant, before that i would have them MAYBE 2x a year. haha.

oh and drk good for you on outing yourself to your F&F.... it's great to have a support network of people who love you during this time. and i have a few people in real life who love to email me and ask how things are going or chat or offer advice so it's fun to share this time with others. and you will be fine...you are already 24, i can easily see you at full term!

lol MP...re: i didnt know i was pregnant, i was just having this convo with a coworker yesterday about how crazy that show is! i watched the one where the gal delivered the baby in the TOILET and was like OMG i am scarred forever watching this.

jas if you have a bump, POST IT girlie!

go amber! you look great! almost to the end... yay!

speaking of the labor rooms...on our birth plan it had a few tips to suggest on things you bring with you that were like DUH for me (as in i wouldn't have thought of them) so i am glad to see them but 1) music you can listen to like iphone or small speakers, etc 2) a small cooler for your hub or whoever else will be with you with food and drink for up to 24 hours and it said clear liquids were ok for the mom (i'm like umm gatorade haha)

but then my MOM also said...don't listen to any music that you really LOVE during that time because it will forever be seared into your brain as birthing or labor aka PAIN music. i was like thanks mom but she does have a good point.

Okay. 26.5 weeks here. Pic is not very good as I have a "flowy" shirt on and had to hold it in the back so you could actually see my belly. I am carrying so low already. Major discomfort in most pants. Boo.

Amber~You''re so close...this could be your last belly pic....who knows!

NB--
Welcome to Olivia Grace.
Such a pretty pretty name
30.gif

Can''t wait to see her.

Sunkist--
36.gif
Lots of labor dust to you.
Can''t wait to hear your updates.

Wow, I know they say that water breaking before labor is not that common, but it seems like we have alot of that here on PS board.

Steph--
Cute belly.
Now I see a bump
2.gif

You are in single digit weeks now!

DrK--
Wow, you are slim and what a cute little bump.
My belly is bigger than that and I''m 19 months PP :P

Amber--
Anytime now for you
2.gif

Are you the first on the list now w/ sunkist going into labor?
Hehe....you maybe be going soon yourself.
We seem to have alot of these delivery boom where 3 babies are just popping out within a week.

Jas12--
Haha, I agree w/ Mara.
If there is a bump, you got to contribute to BPF.
I''d post mine, but there''s no baby in it :P

Burk--
Hehe, you''ve got that classic B preggo profile -- so cute.
Did you carry higher w/ T?

okay ladies here's my 33w4d pic. all you ladies look wonderful!!

ETA: i'm not really carrying that high, it's just a super long shirt.

puffy33w4d.jpg

Yep, I''m the top of the list now! YIKES!

I was going to do my bathroom pic but there were tons of people in and out and they keep looking at me weird lol.

Drk- That is just crazy! Are you still doing crunches?!
2.gif

Steph- You look great! I can't believe a woman is 3 times the size of you at 13 weeks! That would make my jaw drop! As long as the doc says Ok, then don't let anyone's comments bother you!

Amber- I think you are going to have the tinniest baby in there! I can't wait to meet her!

MP- You really need to find another mirror in your building!

16w2d:
Ok, so this might be my last week to post a picture until I actually have something to show. Since "some" people are taking pictures sucking in
11.gif
, then I am going to show mine as well... since I still can. The sucking in is on the left and the regular is on the right.
ETA: I also have the long torso, eventhough I look like I have liost my neck in this picture!
40.gif
I'm just about 5-8.

sunkist - GO you!
36.gif
I hope everything is going well!

November - I can''t wait to see Olivia Grace and hear her story...

Everyone looks amazing as usual. I got my H1N1 vaccine today, the crazy panic seems to have died down and I had no waiting to do. I called my doctor''s office and got an OK for the root canal, so I''m getting it done in 2 weeks. Bleh.

Did you carry higher w/ T?
I carried T pretty low, but I''m lower this time.....probably since second baby and they were fairly close together?!?! I think the other thing that''s making it so uncomfortable is the fact that he''s currently breech and he kicks right where my pants sit!!
3.gif

Puffy~You look great as usual. Did you carry the same with B?

Meresal~You look great. I gave up sucking in around week 12!!
41.gif
You better keep posting pics!!!

Thank you! I just feel dumb posting pics that look exactly the same every week.

Girl, you look adorable! I love your belly! Just since you said something about carrying low, can I ask you a question. I feel like the baby is VERY low in my abdomen still. I mean, still down lower than my hip bones. When did you feel the baby up higher? Have you yet or did you just start to see your growth from down there instead of up around your belly button?

At 16 weeks, yep the baby is still low. I probably didn''t feel the baby up high until after 20 weeks when I was consistently feeling kicks and he was big enough to be up higher.

meresal, you are seriously the cutest little thing. I can''t wait until you get big - you''re going to be all belly!

burk, how can you tell what is a foot and what is the elbow? Lol because from what I can tell, my baby seems to be moving ALL over - I get kicks and/or punches in what seems to be every possible location.

re: being low, the baby was very low for me until recently... at 24 weeks she said he was pretty low still... but in the last 4 weeks he has moved UP a lot and i feel him kicking up near the top of my uterus now a lot more than below (but right now i just felt some movement down below, must be hands up near head). he is in head down position and butt is near my belly button with knees bent and feet kicking top right of uterus. the doctor felt around and said that's what she felt. his head is down near my cervix.

but he has always been low low low, and it is VERY uncomfy when i wear tighter pants near the bottom of my pelvic area because i feel like it's digging right into his HEAD or something. and sometimes he arches or stretches or something and i feel like he will burst out of my pelvis. that almost HURTS.

mp i asked about where he was the last time and it was the first time she could really feel his limbs etc because i also felt like he moved in all areas. well it could be a shoulder pushing out sometimes. or a hand pushing out. or the knees. or back of feet. so because mine is head down i can kind of ID when i get a hand movement or a shoulder push out, or a backwards kick or a knee now. but that wasn't until just a few days ago when she could ID his placement.

fab pictures ladies!!! everyone looks so tiny, omg.... and meresal you and your suck in picture look almost the same as the normal pic. where are you guys putting these babies lol. i love it.

my belly button is starting to open and push out a bit, uh oh. greg has always been creeped out by my bb because he says its the deepest one he has ever seen (???) so i was making him squeamish by saying he would get to see the very bottom of it in a month or two.

So, how soon after the appearance of bloody show does labor begin?

It depends.
Did you have a internal done recently? That can cause some bleeding too.

Sending labor dust your way Amber!

Snlee, I had an internal yesterday, the doc said she was really low. I didn''t bleed last time, though. It was on (tmi) my pad and when I wiped, too.

Everyone looks so good!

Meresal - I think you look about like what I did at 16 weeks, both sucked-in belly and not. I think at 12 weeks, the uterus is just emerging above the pubic bone. 20 weeks is about when it's supposed to get to the belly button. I think mine still felt like it was mostly below the hipbones around 15-16 weeks in. It's only in the last week or so that I've felt kicing at belly button level.

I usually have no clue how she's positioned in there. I think she's still spinning around many times a day. I'll stand up to go to the bathroom, and suddenly she'll be lying way down the bottom right (or at least I'll have a huge bulge just there). Kicks/punches can be all over at around the same time. I've given up guessing till I'm closer to 30 weeks and can feel baby parts more easily.

Amber - I'm guessing it could take a couple days before things start - at least I think I remember some of the others on here posting about bloody show and then having it be a couple days before anything else happened. Hopefully this is it for you though, now that that crib is set up. Then you can stop worrying about being overdue with a huge baby. Good luck though - maybe we will have 3 babies in a week!

Amber~It's different for everyone. Hopefully sooner than later for you!!
9.gif

Re: positioning. Hard to tell what body part is what until way later on (at least for me). We knew this guy was breech from our last ultrasound and the only way I knew he stayed that way up until this point was because I could feel his head up top (way easier to pinpoint head vs. limbs)....today haven't been able to find his head so maybe he's turning around on me!!!

Oohh, Amber, how exciting!
From what I have read and heard from others, it really varies, but the bloody show is usually a lot closer to labor than the mucous plug. Has that passed yet?

I just scored a $15 outfit at Target! I got a pair of maternity dress pants for $7 and a long purple shirt at $8. Woot!

And...I gave in, and bought my first baby item. A gender-neutral set of 3 onsies. And man was it hard to find something that wasn''t pink or blue. Gah, they are so cute!

Amber: This is what happened to me! I had bloody show but was told from a nurse that it was blood from my internal exam the day before. Less than two days later I was holding Evan! Good Luck!!
