JCrow- Oh, I love Austin. My fave TX city by far, and would happily move back in a heartbeat. Are you enjoying it? We got married at the Four Seasons, outside on the lawn by Town Lake. They have a GREAT prenatal massage there, btw. I know it''s pricey, but it was the best one I got anywhere and it was heavenly. Just FYI!

Last 2 weekends in Jan/first weekend in Feb are open for me as of now. Other H-town ladies????

we are enjoying it! it has some much to offer! i looked into the massages there. i ended up going to one in houston with my sil, so i haven''t had one in austin yet. will keep that one in mind!

LIA & Hudson Hawk, congrats on your pregnancies!!!

thanks china for the advice - I do very much like my job and the people that I work with, so it''s difficult not to feel like I''m leaving them in somewhat of a lurch. we have a trial scheduled to start just as I will be headed off for leave. but, i also know that, like you said, i need to start setting boundaries now.

and my first boundary was reserving a trip to the banyan tree mayakoba. we found a most excellent deal (could be swine flu scare, depressed economy, etc

) and cannot wait to for a little rest and relaxation.

oooh also re: elevated heartbeat...i just remembered i have had a few times like that where i also kind of break out into a sweat and feel a little dizzy. i think it''s actually related to low-ish blood sugar at times or doing too much and not drinking enough water and/or eating.

Ditto this. Before I got PG, I would often get these because I didn''t eat often enough, so my blood sugar would drop, I''d break into a sweat, get a crazy heart rate going, and feel very weak. Occasionally it would include tunnel vision and a feeling like I was going to faint. If I ate, it would be gone within moments, especially something a little more sugary, like a sip of pop or an apple. Water never helped at all, and I have always been one of those people that has at least 8 glasses of water a day, so I don''t think it has anything to do with the water. It won''t hurt you, though!

Lulu- I hear you, I felt the same way. Like I needed to apologize. But you''ll see that mat leave is NO vacation and you''ll stop feeling that way. They WILL manage without you. And probably realize how much they appreciate having you there in the process! Oh, I''ve heard lovely things about Banyan Tree. One of my BF''s just went there and loved it. Good for you!!!!

Thanks to you too JCrow! And congrats as well, I had no idea you were expecting!

thanks guys for the warm welcomes!! it''s great to be back!!

SNLEE: yes, come join again SOON!! we were great buddies last time. i have no idea how they will manage the PTL...all i can say is that i''m TERRIFIED! i just can''t imagine doing 10+ weeks of bedrest again with coby running around. just the thought of it breaks my heart (to not be able to spend the time with him), and sends me into a panic (how the HECK do people get things done??).

not to mention the fact that i''m still nursing. my child absolutely refuses to drink milk except for from mommy. i have tried yogurt smoothies, banana/milk smoothies, strawberry smoothies, and even chocolate milk (bad mom, i know), but he won''t take anything. i need to wean him soon (which also breaks my heart b/c i absolutely love bf), but have no idea how. my ob strongly recommends that i stop before 2nd trimester b/c nursing can stimulate uterine contractions...that''s all i need with my history!!!

anyway...

this afternoon was certainly self-flagellation indeed! the tech at first only saw an empty gestational sac. she searched everywhere but couldn''t find anything. so i was devastated thinking it was a blighted ovum for sure. then she went to look at ovaries and found a couple cysts (not that i cared in the least at that point), and then finally decided to look one last time. well, hallelujah, there was the little bugger just hanging out right at the fundus with a strong hearbeat of 114.
36.gif
i''m still not entirely sure that i believe it was really his hearbeat and not mine (i''m sure it was even faster than 114 at that point), but she was pretty certain.

point of story...don''t schedule your own u/s. i don''t think i''ll REALLY rest easy until next week when i see it for sure at the ob''s office!!!!

Just popping in to say congrats to HH ad LIA!

Zoe there was one earlier this fall that I couldn''t make. I don''t think there''s been another one since though.

Dr. K,

Thought about you today; you''re past 32 weeks by now aren''t ya? I know that was one of the "big" dates for you.... Congratulations, lady! You''ll totally make it full-term, but I wanted to send you a smiley for making the big 32, just the same!!

(I''m looking forward to seeing that little girl you get to cradle in your arms!!!)

waxing~ OMG. I''ve never heard a delivery story like yours. Your midwife should write it up and publish it! I''m so happy that you had such an easy delivery!!

LIA~ Congratulations!! Lots of dust for a happy and healthy 9 months!!

Steph~ Hope you enjoyed Mickey D''s!!

I only have time for a fly-by........ BUT, I had to share!!

I felt Baby move!! I was fairly certain I felt it at least a couple times yesterday and after feeling several more times today, I''m positive! It feels like little rolls on my lower left (which is where my uterus has decided to hang out.) I don''t know why I can feel it so early, but I love it. After all the MS and pubic bone pain, headaches and exhaustion, it seems I should have one thing to be really happy to have!! It still takes me by surprise and I think I must gasp or something because DH knows when it happens if he''s in the room with me.

Also, my nephew is to enter the world on Wednesday!! My SIL has to have a 2nd c-section so I''ll be happy to hear some of her experiences to prepare for my own 2nd c.

Hope all of you are doing well!!

Back from my appt. My doctor was trying super hard to find the little bean''s heartbeat but kept picking up mine. I was getting worried and he said "Oh, don''t worry. I wouldn''t let you leave here without seeing or hearing the heartbeat." Phew, I was so relieved. Anyway, no luck with the doppler so we moved to the ultrasound room. The screen lit up and there was our bean swimming all over the place! Yeah! It was weird - he put the transducer on my belly, we saw the baby and he said "Now she''ll move." and she/he did! Does the u/s stimulate the baby? He didn''t measure the heart rate but could see it beating and said moving baby=beating heart.

DH kept saying "That was so cool." on the way home in the car.
9.gif

I feel so much better! Next Friday is our NT scan and I think I''ll be even more relaxed once that''s over.

De-lurking here to ask Lovelylulu- That resort looks gorgeous- you lucky girl!!! Where did you find your great deal? Im currently looking for a place for us to vacation this April....and I need help!!!

Im so glad to hear that you are doing well!! Soooo excited for you!!!

Thanks Fisher! You must have the memory of an elephant. I''m now 32.5 weeks, kiddo was kicking up a storm today after freaking me out a little by being super quiet from when I got up till shortly after I got to work. Luckily she got more and more aggressive from there. I must be due for a quiet day tomorrow after 3 busy days in a row.

YAY ss! That first week after you feel the baby move is SO much fun. I kept telling my husband I couldn''t wait for the really big kicks so he could feel it, too. It''s so exciting!

puppmom, yay for seeing the baby! The u/s kind of "vibrates" so I can see how it would stimulate the baby into squirming a bit.

I got so excited about seeing the baby that I forgot to tell y''all about the sucky stuff. I''m up 7 pounds!
8.gif
And, the nurse took my blood pressure. It was 130/80 and she said "Huh, that''s a little high." The doctor didn''t mention it. I''m normally 120/70. Any ideas? Of course, I can''t help googling it!

Mara- I saw your previous posts to me as well... thank you so much for taking the time!

Thanks for your replies ladies. It was more freaky than anything... especially since all I was doing was sitting at my desk working. It was about 30 minutes before lunch, and I noticed that before it happened, I started to feel lots of "stuff" in my tummy, so maybe the baby movement has something to do with it.

Has anyone else noticed that the baby moving more causes your heartrate to rise?

Mp- Unfortunately the last thing I could do was think about swallowing at the time. I had a bottle of water right next to me, and it was like my throat was closing up. (kinda the feeling you get when you have a pill stuck in your throat)

Pupp -So glad you got to see your little one!!! I'm sorry about the weight gain, but I am a walking testimonial that the weight comes at different times, and it will freak you out, but then you will go a few weeks and only gain a pound or two and the world will be right again. Just make sure you aren't overeating, and everything will be fine
5.gif

China- I did go to school there. That is where DH and I met, and we go back ALL the time. We love it there!

Jcrow- HOUSTON GTG- A couple of those dates actually work for me as well. The last weekend of Jan or the first weekend of Feb.

drk - yay for 32 weeks!

ss - the first movement is so exciting!

steph - i think mcdonald''s to make up for 2 lbs down is as logical as me buying a big ole thing of cream puffs from costco and scarfing without guilt because my weight stalled -- which means absolutely 100% perfect common sense
3.gif

meresal - i had similar symptoms and i think they were related to low blood sugars also. ditto the stay well hydrated well fed advice!

lia - fingers crossed everything goes well at the ob!

hh - congrats!!!

pupp - yay for seeing the swimming bean!
1.gif

mara/qt - sooooo jealous ya''ll get time off before the baby comes. i so need a break from work. this being on my feet and walking 8-10 hours a day, trekking all over our medical center walking back and forth between clinics situated 5-6 blocks from each other several times a day is really starting to wear on me. my attending freaked out friday because he saw me finally give and sit down in a patient room while he was talking, which is kind of off etiquette wise. and i mean freaked out worried because i hadn''t been doing that. i''m tired.
8.gif

jcrow/chinacat - we "babymooned" in the hill country also! lol -- rented a luxury "cabin" with some really close friends and had a blast -- just hanging out, cooking, pigging out on s''more over an open fire. i''m due 2/10/2010. and i''m free the last 2 weekends in jan (well i have to work morning of the 2nd to last saturday in jan but will hopefully be free by the afternoon) and i''m no sure if i''ll be working in feb yet (depends if my colleages take pity on me or not
12.gif
). totally up for a gtg
36.gif
.

last weekend was my first weekend off in a looooong time (like 3 weeks!) and even longer that i had a weekend off without other obligations (almost 2 months) and we FINALLY got to work on baby stuff! it''s REALLY starting to hit home that he could be here literally any day now! i finally got to sort through all the gifts and clothes -- i have yet to buy the nugget a single article of clothing (other than the baby chuck taylors i bought to announce to hubbs that he had knocked me up
9.gif
) and i believe the little guy has more than enough clothes to have 3-4 outfit changes head to toe daily for the next 3 months.
6.gif
not even here yet and he''s already spoiled
5.gif
we''re trying to figure out how to store the mountain of diapers and wipes we''ve got, although i''m sure we''ll go through them in no time flat once our little poopong peanut arrives
5.gif
.

i have to say though, i''m feeling overwhelmed. def this is late in the game to be getting ready, but work put me in this crazy predicament and now i''m feelling panick-y. i feel like i may be over thinking things.
like the clothes, how much do you wash in advance? up to the 0-3 mos? waht about the 3-6 mos clothes? how do you what you''ll use?
how many blankets does he really need (therefor how many do i wash?)
how many burp clothes should I have ready?
what should i have most handy on the changing table (butt cream, wipes, diapers, lotion) -- am i missing something?

my control freak need-to-plan-in-advance craziness is rearing it''s ugly head and i know i can''t know and plan for everything perfectly and it''s freaking me out!! i need help
14.gif

lol Steph and Ginger, i am eating Hostess powdered mini donettes, hey baby has to gain weight right?? hahaa.

pupp, yay for the HB! don't worry about the weight gain, seriously.

LIA, yay for hearing a HB though 114 does sound more like yours than the baby's but surely Dr would know right???

ginger re: washing and getting things ready. i washed all the NB and 0-3 months stuff, little hats, mittens, and that was it. i figure by the time the other stuff is fittable it would be dusty anyway. i got a lot of various blankets but i tried to streamline. i have 8 aden and adais muslin blankets, 12 diaper burp cloths (i wanted 24 of them, 2 packs but they are so fluffy that i only could store 12 so far!), 5 waterproof 18x27 pads, 2 quilted sheet savers, 2-3 fluffy microfleece blankets, 3-4 knitted blankets from my Mom. i am sure there are other things i am forgetting besides that haha. but i think we are set to start at least. i finally got diapers and wipes today, yay!

also ginger, jeez it sucks you don't get time off before. i am seriously DONE with having to do so much...and girl how do you walk around so much!!

i've been having tightenings all day and some cramping..so guess things are continuing. funny how the cramps feel like period cramps, it is like wow i havent felt THOSE in a longtime. kid is still like a little crazy snake but has laid off the rib a bit thank god!!

re: the babymoons in Mexico, just gotta say to be careful. we love Mexico and used to go once a year but lately it has been a lot scarier with the drug wars. Greg hasn't let us go for the last year. they even had some shootout near one of the resort areas in one of the towns recently..don't recall whereexactly but i remember reading? Anyway, i don't know that I'd babymoon in Mexico, just figured i'd put the PSA out there and you gals can do your own research and come to your own conclusions. we sure do miss it though...I hope it gets better soon.

oh and random note but I went to Target today and they are having like a seasonal clearance on baby clothes and Dwell Studio stuff and also a lot of Just One Year stuff too. I got a ton of things for a great price...CRAZY low prices on some of this stuff. I got a Dwell hat that was like $8 originally for $1.99. I love bargains.

hi gals. still here. 40w2d. miserable. wanting it to be over. just wanted to say hi so you didn''t get your hopes up that i was out birthing the beast.

off to sleep on the couch as nothing else is even remotely comfortable. not even our pillow top that cost well over a grand.

Argh!

Hope you''re all doing well.

mara - thanks for the psa. we did our due diligence and while Mexico definitely has its issues with crime and drugs, we were convinced that where we are headed will be safe.

cdt - thanks for the recommendation for the excederin tension. my head is feeling much less throbby today!

dani - we booked our trip through a sale website called jetsetter. it''s affiliated with gilt group if you are familiar. however, for all of the concerns that mara and I''ve mentioned deals abound. thanks for the good thoughts. I very much appreciate them!

hope today is your labor day cello!

Steph, yay for a good appointment! I can completely get behind McD''s for lunch if you lost weight.
9.gif

LIA, congrats! I understand the nervousness until you see/hear the heartbeat. I really drove myself crazy during my 1st trimester, imagining all sorts of horrible things. Sometimes I wish for the carefree ignorance of my younger days.

Puppmom, I doubt that the u/s stimulates the baby because you can''t feel the u/s waves yourself, right? That said, all of my kids have acted crazy when I''ve gotten either an u/s or someone tries to doppler them. Just last week, as soon as the mw put the doppler on my belly, my little guy flipped around so he was lying posterior and she couldn''t get his heartbeat. Babies in utero seem to be sensitive to touch outside the uterus, which is pretty cool. Either that or they''re just rotten kids from the beginning, LOL!

I wouldn''t worry too much about your blood pressure right now. It''s VERY common for blood pressure readings to be higher at the dr''s than at home (you know, white coat hypertension?). Your doctor will just keep an eye on it.

AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE WEIGHT GAIN!! Does it make you feel any better to know that when I stepped on the scale last night, I was at 151? I started out at 116, so you can do that math!

DRK, congrats on reaching 32 weeks, but when did that happen?? I remember when you got pregnant and it seems like not very long ago at all.

Ginger, I feel for you! I don''t know how in the world you do it with all of that walking. I do think you''re overthinking things for the baby, but only because you''re worried you missed something. I think it''s safe to wash enough clothing to give yourself 2 outfits per day for a week, if you have your own washer and dryer. The only reason I''d do more than this is if I planned to always wash the baby''s clothing alone -- in that case, I''d plan to let him wear enough to make up at least a medium load. I always was the baby''s clothes with our clothes *unless* I see some sort of skin sensitivity, so since I''m doing laundry all week long, I''ve never run out of clothing.

I had Will''s baby clothes, so I ended up washing all of those (and there are a TON of 0-3 mo!) and putting those out for the baby, but I also washed the 3-6 months then put them in Target bags, knotted them up and put them in the closet. My kids take forever to get into 3-6 mo. clothing, so I figure this time will be no different.

You kind of have to play it by ear because a lot depends on birthweight and how quickly your baby gains. My kids are generally in the 7-8 lb. range, so they fit easily into 0-3 mo sizes, and they gain slowly, so we keep these clothes a long time.

For burp clothes, I use the Gerber birdseye cloth diapers that come in a 12 pack. I just throw them in the wash with the baby''s clothes. I''ve also used thin receiving blankets when I didn''t have a burp cloth handy. I usually have 6 or so of the thin receiving blankets on hand, too.

I don''t use a changing table, but for the most part, I only need diapers and wipes for a change. I keep the butt cream put up and only get it down if it''s needed. I don''t bother with lotion.

Three things you may want:

If your doc tells you to treat the umbilical cord stump with alcohol, you may want a bottle of alcohol and cotton balls. I don''t bother with this because a fairly recent study showed that the cord stump falls off just as fast doing nothing as it does treating with alcohol.

If you''re having your son circumsized, you''ll want some vaseline to apply with the little gauze pads the hospital will give you.

If you find that you don''t have something, remember that babies TRULY need very, very little! And the stores will be open the next day.
1.gif

Mara, dang it. Now I''m going to have to go to Target tonight. I''ve been doing such a GOOD job at being a hermit this week!!

Cello, hang in there! At least you know that the end is in sight somewhere! It''s amazing how comfy couches can get when you''re desperate for rest.

Nothing new here. Still pregnant, still mostly fine with it. I have a lot to keep me busy at work, which is great. Every morning in our quicky team meeting, my boss and I compare notes -- last week, his wife''s doc told her sometime in the next week and now she''s sort of bummed because nothing''s happened. I''m glad that my mw doesn''t give any predictions, except for telling me that my uterus didn''t feel ready last week.
9.gif
It''s so much easier to accept still being pregnant when you don''t get your hopes up at all.

Pupp, glad you got to see the HB, don''t stress about the weight, everyone gains differently and over time it typically evens itself out. Just eat sensibly and trust your body.

Ginger, I would wash the newborn/0-3 month stuff and worry about the rest later.

Long day yesterday between work, looking at a house (well, peeking in the windows) and CB class. The teacher tells us a bunch of stuff and then we watch a video that repeats the same information. I''m aware it''s a retention thing, but I really wish she''d just show the video and be done with it. We''re going out with our realtor in the next week or so, have narrowed it down to 3 houses. Exciting stuff.

Yesterday someone I work with figured out I''m pregnant. I don''t think she picked up on the fact that I''m 31 weeks (she walked by when another teacher was rubbing my stomach and put two and two together). It cracked me up.

GINGER: don''t worry...i agree with what everyone else wrote...all you REALLY need are a couple blankets to keep the baby warm, diapers and a few outfits! we were INCREDIBLY minimalist with my son (we are jewish and dh wanted to follow the tradition of not getting anything until after the baby is born), and ended up just fine! what kind of medicine are you in again?

PUPPP: awesome that your ob did an u/s. mine is totally not like that. they have special u/s rooms and techs, and you do NOT get one unless you have an appt (and usually those have to be booked several weeks in advance). although they did squeeze me in for a couple "emergency" ones last time when i was having ptl. don''t worry about the weight gain!!

MER; glad you''re feeling better.

MARA: that''s exciting about the cramping!! you''re getting so close! i totally would have thought that it was my heartbeat, except we were seeing the flickering on the monitor, not just listening. and the little bean''s hr start out slower (i think they said normal is 90-110bpm around 6 weeks, going up to 140-150ish by 9 weeks), so hopefully that was it... and the only doctor in the room was me...HAHA. the tech and i were like the blind leading the blind.

CELLO: hang in there girl!

LULU: good to "see" you. glad your headache is better

RPS: i love reading your posts. it''s great to have someone with so much experience! do you have any suggestions regarding weaning an EXTREMELY stubborn 15mo old?? :)

nothing new to report here. just feeling sick. blah blah blah. wish i didn''t have to go to work today! since i''m in such a BORING stage of pregnancy, i probably won''t post too often for now, but i''ll be reading and thinking of you guys!

Aw, thank you so much. =) I''m always happy to share, but everyone has to remember that their experience may be 100% different than mine. Plus, so many of the things I''ve done as a parent have been simply flying by the seat of my pants!

I''m afraid I''m lacking in suggestions for weaning your toddler because my kids either self-weaned...or I had to lie to the one that held on to nursing the longest (5 years!). It''s quite possible that your little one may wean during your pregnancy as your milk changes over to colostrum, but I can understand if you don''t want to wait that long and take the chance on ending up tandeming.

My friends that have weaned toddlers have used the "don''t offer, don''t refuse" method and let their kids set the pace. If the toddler asks to nurse, they don''t refuse, but they also don''t offer at all.

I''d probably go with re-direction, too. Like, if your little one loves one particular thing, like coloring, I''d offer to sit on the floor and color together at the first request to nurse. If re-direction doesn''t work, then nurse. Does that make sense? You could also offer something else, like juice or milk in a cup, if that would work.

I hope that helps a little bit! There''s a great book called Mothering Your Nursing Toddler that I highly recommend. My copy is packed away somewhere or I''d dig it out and see what the author says.

And kudos to you for nursing so long!
36.gif
I know it''s not easy, but I really love seeing women that make it into toddlerhood.

awww Cello I was so hoping you were in labor (but prob not hoping as badly as you right?!?!). I will send you lots of vibes today.

More stabbing cervix pains last nite when I went to bed, but thankfully snake child was pretty quiet after that and let me sleep. He def has his ''days'' where I want him out and other times I am like ok I could do it another day. Ok one more day. So I guess that''s how you get to the end, right?

I think one of my biggest ''issues'' is when he is really moving around, like whole belly is jumping, feel him on my cervix, under my rib... then he tends to also hit nerves which trigger restless legs and it just feels so WEIRD all over. And that is when I get irritated, since my body is totally out of my control. Crazy stuff.

I have like 500 meetings this week too as everyone tries to take advantage of me still being there. I am mentally checking out though and letting my fill-in lead more which is so nice! There are a few decisions I still need to be a part of so I have like 3 two-hour calls today that I am NOT looking fwd to. I would stay home today and do them but I also have 2 one-hour in person meetings, BAH!!!! Oh well. I just keep chanting 3 more days. It takes me longer to get ready and drive to work in the mornings now and I just move a lot slower so everything takes more planning and deliberation hahaa.

Ginger I agree with everyone else re: babies don''t need much. But I am super anal planner too so I wanted to be ready, that is why our nursery has been mostly done for like a month. hehee. I am just glad now we have DIAPERS since that was key.

We just found out last nite too that my cousin is 11 wks preggo with her 2nd baby, she is one year older than me and has the cutest 2 year old girl. I told her well if it''s a boy you know where to come for stuff!!! We sure have enough.

DRK congrats on making it to 32 weeks!!! Hang in there.

RPS...I love Target...I can hardly ever go in there and come out without less than $100. I was so proud yesterday, I ended up getting like 8 items of clothing (mostly 12-18 months clearance items), diapers, and wipes for $49 and it was with a gift card...even better!

LIA... lol re: the only Dr in the room, somehow I thought you had made an actual appt hehee. But yeah if you see the bean flickering that is def the HB. We actually didn''t HEAR our HB til like 16 weeks, they just showed us the flickering each time so I guess my Dr would agree with flickering HB=moving baby!

For the gals worrying about weight gain, trust me I have weight control issues too. But again, unless you are eating double fudge triple chocolate milkshakes 4x a day...just eat the way you normally do and add a little more and call it a day. Your bodies know what to do, trust them. I am up 35 lbs and I def have been more lax so I am just amazed it''s not more. Indulge when you want but in moderation. And just stay ''active'' in general and work on growing the child!
5.gif

Aww, poor Cello...thought you would have your sweet baby by now. I''ve never heard of them letting someone go past 42 weeks...when are they inducing you, girl?

Mara, QT, and I are all due within days of each other...I wonder who will be next after Cello? It is a little freaky looking at the preggos in waiting list! I still have to go to the hospital to pre-register and wash a few more blankets/outfits and get my hubby to install the carseat, and then I think I am finished up! Crazy how life is about to change!

hey ladies!

thanks for the chill out posts! i started laughing at myself reading them because I KNOW the store will be open and I KNOW there is nothing EMERGENT the baby will need that we wouldn't be able to provide or make do for a while at least but my super planner freak side has been rearing its ugly head, and prob even worse than usual becuase i've been keeping her smacked down for a while. we are planning to keep things minimal and really have so far, but then that little niggly feeling of what if i forgot something or we don't have enough of something keeps squirming it's way back into my consciousness. sick isn't it, the mental battles i have with myself -- just a little peek into gingerB's mind, thanks for visiting

mara - mmm...mini donuts, i'm partial to the chocolate covered ones dunked in icy cold milk myself. i see a detour to the junk food aisle in my near future.

lol), AND it reminded me i need to go get the wterproof pads!! where did you get yours from? and thanks for the heads up re: target. i am soooo addicted and also have difficulty walking out with less than $100 in my cart, even if the only thing i came for was toothpaste

as for the walking, i have no choice. the hard part isn't the walking cuz i'm used to it, it's pacing myself because i'm used going 110 mph and it's frustrating that i can't. my pace has slowed considerably now and i have the urge to hold my belly up when walking/waddling about. really attractive.

rps - thanks for kickstarting my common sense again! we do have our own washer and dryer and plan to wash his stuff with ours (again unless the skin sensitivty stuff pops up) and we have a few 24 hour places nearby in case there is something we absolutely have to have at 2 am
