VERY cool... i like it! I just browsed through quickly, but everything seemed to be working fine and made sense, looked nice.

So is what Perry said true about only Ideal Rocks being able to post in there? That is a kind of nice treat.

Also agree with Kaleigh that a defining the purpose might be nice.

The picture gallery has come along quite nicely since it''s birth. Every day Leonid has been making improvemnts to it.

THe side bars dont bother me it is the gallery design. ALso I am worried that it might gets used a selling forum. I know PS isnt mine but that would irk me. JMO.

What do we do with the Gallery? Is it for a distraction or for things that somehow relate to Pricescope? It looks like it is related to the diverse interests of members rather diamonds and jewelry. What''s the purpose? I sure am willing to listen and understand better.

Would an indicator on how many new pics were posted in the last 24 hours in the toggle link so if its off it says something like "2 new pictures. show" as the link?

Is there a way we could "highlight" each vendor...kind of like a who''s who, and show basically what they do and what they carry???? This could be for those who advertise here........maybe a one time thing every 6 mos or so!!?? Something in between.........I know it''s a fine line, but I think it might be good for both vendors and consumers..........

We''re changing it gradually. Now members with over 100 posts should be able to log in... please give it a try.

I''m still have to impliment membership synchronization and other stuff, which will take a few days.

I''d like to see who posted the pic in the thumbnail view. That way if someone new posts it would catch my eye -- vendor or non-vendor.

I agree that allowing vendors to post their goods could degrade into a race to just market their stuff. I would like to see some interesting vendor posts tho... Ex, Garry''s posts have been interesting so far.. Maybe you could come up with a strong limitation that would cause them to have to pick and choose carefully, and only post a few pics at a time.

I got a strange PS Email saying I have not been authorised. Now I know what it was about.

Looks pretty good. I think a lot of people here will get a lot of enjoyment seeing each others jewellery in a well managed environment.

I also don''t really go for the sell sell placement of photos by the trade, but as this is beata, it may be worth testing. Your own web sites are the better place to make a song and dance about yourself, I agree. Even I can recogonise that

I''d love to see more trade input on settings and I think it would be beneficial if handled the right way. I am sure you can handle it Lenoid.

• Jewelry or diamond vendors must not post images of jewelry or gemstones.
• Links to other diamond or jewelry websites are not allowed.
• Do not post items for sale.
• Do not posts any content that infringes the rights of any party.
• Pornography is prohibited.
• Pricescope reserves the right to remove or categorize images in any way it sees fit.

Any suggestions or better wording are welcome

Gallery Email Options: When you logged into the gallery, click on your user name at the right-top bar.

I still can''t sign in...what am I doing wrong?

You don''t have to optimize the images for the gallery now unless you want to. The system will automatically re-size the picture on fly to 640 pix if the file size exceeds 100kb.

We tested with 1Mb pictures and aside from long uploading time it worked fine. There is no guarantee of the resulting quality of course but JPEG pictures look OK for the web.

I wish we could have such functionality for the forum...
