I'm a big time dog lover. Although, I don't currently own one, but I would love to someday end up with a Lab Retriever (any color will do). Dogs can bring so much joy in to your lifes (so can diamonds)... they are like kids, but they don't talk back. WAIT, they do... they BARK back.

But I still love them!

Q - Adorable puppies!!! I just love dobermans! I've never seen a red one before though - he's beautiful! If I had the time, energy and more space than a 1-bed 5th floor apartment, I'd have a doberman and a weimaraner. They're such beautiful dogs.

Just don't tell my cats I said so!!!

And by the way, there's nothing wrong with being a GEEK!!!

um, goldengirl and Q, i honestly want to CONSUME your doggies! they are so freakin' cute!!! i LOVE them!! honestly, if i saw you guys with them on the street, i would seriously run up and accost those handsome little lovers!

i actually do do that quite often. last week i went right up told this bernese mountain dog puppy (OMG, don't even get me STARTED on that little nugget

) that lives in my neighborhood that i love her and want to marry her. my BF usually tries to pretend he doesn't know me when this happens.

lol! you guys are funny. i'm glad i'm not the only dog FREAK in the house. i honestly have a problem--i have to like, stop and talk to every single dog i see in the street. (and on the upper west side of manhattan, that is a LOT of little lovers!) bernies in particular really just make me lose my MIND.

also: i must know, do you guys talk to your dogs like a total nutjob the way i do? i don't know what it is, i can't help myself. my BF thinks it's a girl gene. i come home from work and the nonsense talk just starts gushing out. i'm all, "hi, veltus, hi soph!!! did you guys have a very nice day today? mommy MISSED you while she was at work! velter, you are my handsome little man. you are my furry litle boyfriend! soph! have i ever told you that you are a niiiiiiice girl? you are a very nice girl!" and so on and so on. i think my neighbors think im seriously mental. (sometimes i think i am, too.)

Secondly, Reena, i hafta tell you - the first date my fiance & I went on, we'd decided to hang out at Dag H Park by the UN before dinner - which is basically a doggie walk park... we sat there talking for three hours and, seriously, every thirty seconds, Ric was talking to a dog that walked by! He was all "hello poochy" "who's da cutie doggie"! I almost ended the date

Actually, it was cute - he was just nervous

He still does baby-talk to dogs

the guy's 6'4" & he gets all silly n squishy around pooches - it's so cute!

Reena, you are not the only doggie freak. If I see dogs in another car, I would wave and say hello. When we were in Alaska this past May, I would go in to a store b/c there is a dog in there. Quite a few shop owners bring their dogs to work in Alaska. How awesome! I wish I could do that... My bf is pretty cool about it. Because he knows how much I adore dogs, he would point them out to me... He gets a kick out of me playing with the dogs.

yeah, luckily for me, my BF adores animals too--he just gets a little embarrassed when i accost random people on the street and proceed to talk baby talk to their dogs for longer than is probably socially acceptable. lol. he does have an especially soft spot for our 6 pound female papillon--he calls her his "baby"--which is pretty darn cute.

Q- Those dogs are hilarious...my cats sleep like that together, but have never seen 70 pound puppies like that!

Reena- My boyfriend thinks I am a nut job for talking to my cats all the time. When I lived at home with my parents we all talked to the dogs and cats like that. And I also wave to dogs in the cars next to me, I think we are the normal ones.....

Ohhhh!! I love all of the doggies (puppy-heads as I call them)! I'm such a dork when it comes to dogs. I drive my man bonkers with how silly I am about dogs. I was even thinking that my furry baby would be the ring bearer in my wedding. Am I totally crazy or what!!??

lol MMM, at LEAST half my pics are of him wet...it's all I can do to keep him OUT of the water at any given time... on the way to the mail box we pass a little fountain/pond thing and if there aren't any property nazis around I let him off-leash for a quick swim...
