DF, I totally understand that. I hate having pics taken too but over the years I got less strict about my no pic policy because I do regret not having any pics from our honeymoon (I don't even have a lot of wedding day pics and no video) and other happy occasions so these days I allow a few. I want to be able to look back in my old age when my memory is less than sharp and allow the pics to evoke memories of happy times if you kwim. It's not too late for you to start. Snap a pic today. A selfie will do-all the youngsters are doing them.

I don't even know how to take a pic with my iphone.. ..even if I did I would needed to ask my daughter to upload it into my computer before I know how to post it on the internet..

I forgot to add that I think the use of certain creams on the face and neck area help a lot. It's a lot cheaper than popular high-end department store brands and contains things which nourish the skin such as aloe vera, Vitamin E, other vitamin formulas, and herbs and it's Aubrey Organics. No, I don't sell it, but I have been using it for decades.

Apparently I do. I was asked for ID last three times I bought wine (3 different stores) so I must look like I'm under 18. I changed careers a few years ago, and people at work are assuming I'm in my early to mid 20s because of my newly qualified status. It's getting annoying now, for various reasons (I'll be 40 in November).

I have a streak of grey in my hair that isn't usually visible - I actually got it cut into a different style yesterday to make it more prominent.

I'm 36 and I think I look my age. Until a few years ago, I felt I always looked younger, but I feel my face aged a lot after having the twins.

I am sun-safe and don't smoke, but I have a stressful life (3 kids, no family nearby and a demanding job). I also eat a lot of sugar which we now know causes inflammation and breaks down collagen. Boo!

Like others, I do also find women without kids tend to look younger (didn't really notice about men).

She was a tame feral and a tiny little thing. Only 7lbs. We found her scavenging in the yard and started feeding her, then trapped her. Within 2 days, she was sleeping on my lap and let me pet her belly! She's very skittish with everyone other than me. My husband has to sneak up on her to get a few pets... I tell him it's because I slept on the bathroom floor with her that first weekend and he didn't "earn" her trust yet. I love my little girl.

Ah ha ha! That poop pic is exactly what I would do. In fact, I think I have a similar pic of me and a huge pile of elephant crap from my Africa trip years ago.


As for my appearance, I've always looked older. It was great for getting into bars when I was younger, but now it just sucks. I easily look ten years older than I am. I don't smoke, or sunbathe, or drink a lot, I'm just old looking. Meh.

I won't post a picture of myself because I have revealed where I live and I am around enough with my job someone might recognize me. I knew where Italia lived when she posted her picture and condo although we never met. I don't need anyone robbing my house because they see my loot! I would love to, but no go! I do hVe plenty of baby pictures form the early 60's!

b/c those pics were uploaded on my computer awhile back by my daughter. I just got my first smart phone and all I know is how to call, text and browse the internet...

If I compare myself with photos of my mom at the same age and I definitely do not look my age. So I won't say I look younger, but I definitely look good. My sister has had some health issues the past year and had to completely change her eating habits, etc. I have to say that I have noticed that she has never looked better. She has slimmed down (no dieting, just giving up sugar and reducing salt) and firmed up and her rosacea is gone! She and I went out before Mother's Day for a complete makeover and she wowed her husband.

So if you want to look good at any age, eat healthy, exercise, stay out of the sun, and be happy!

At some point, I think it changes from looking younger than your age to looking good for your age. I think I fall into that category.

I think I look older than my age. I have never been carded, not even back when I celebrated my 21st birthday-talk about a bummer! Isn't it supposed to be a rite of passage to get carded when you go out for your 21st?! Haha.

This is one picture where I feel like I MIGHT look close to my age....but even here I think I look older than 25.

Just wait and you will look super young in about 10 years. I am built like you and even have a similar baby face. When I was 20-25, my womanly body made me look older. But now in my mid 30s, I think I look younger than a lot of my peers. And they all got fat so my figure doesn't stand out as much (I have weighed the same since I was 19).

Yay! There is still hope for me!
