I have the white with colors, and the Alma in black. They are HEAVY and after waiting a year and a half for them (insane) I did not really even want them any more, but got them and do not love them. Love the Cherries and blossoms though, and the Suhali is gorgeous. I never saw the gold one Jessica Simpson had in real life, just white, black, prune, blue...LOVE THE DENIM...it might appease my desire for an Hermes Birkin in blue jean. But aren''t they heavy? They are heavy when they are empty...

Concur completely. Handbags are my weakness. My faves are my black Gucci Jackie O style hobo & a butterscotch leather Hogan I got on a trip to Paris. I''ve had to institute a handbag freeze but just the other day I spied an Anya Hindmach photo bag at the Neiman''s Last Call -- one I''ve been searching for for 3+ years and screamed me: retro photo of a fifties couple kissing in a diner with a sign behind them that says Coffee 25 cents .... and more than 75% off the original price .... I couldn''t walk out of there without it - but couldn''t break my ban. Quick & tacky thinking on my part -- somehow I convinced my Mom to give me a month early b-day present of it. Somethings you love & put on a shelf & never touch. This is not one of those things. I place it across the room so I can look at it. I''ve used it every day since & even put my stuff in it on the way out of the outlet mall. It may not be everyone''s cup of tea, and it may have been trendy back three years ago when I started looking for it, but I LOVE IT. I''M obsessed with it. And I thank my understanding (gift-challenged ha!) Mom for making a deal with this handbag devil!

Saks is closing? The one on City Line Avenue in Bala Cynwyd? Say it ain''t so!!!! Did you hear whether they plan to reopen in downtown Phila or they leaving the area for good? Oh, well--there will always be King of Prussia. (I read that Federated is closing the Strawbridge''s in King of Prussia - Maybe Saks will take over that space.)

This came up while i was talking to my friend in Philly and i was like oh i heard that may be closing, and she was like WHAT?! and immediately called around and she found out they''d be moving to King of Prussia. I don''t know who she found it out from, but like she said, crisis averted!

Blue, from your mouth to God''s ears. There is an offer by Bon TOn of 4 billion to buy it and I heard they want the flagship stores real estate. KOP does not need another anchor, I want it to stay but to revamp...the Philly store is tiny. I heard all the Strawbridges here will be closing too, bought by Macy''s. I just hope you are right that they are not closing.
PS. DO NOT BUY EXPENSIVE BAGS OFF EBAY UNLESS YOU CAN AUTHENTICATE THEM. YOu can pm me whoever is curious, I have had TWO expensive and awful experiences. To me, a HOT bag that is in high demand and hard to find is not likely to be sooo cheap on ebay... if it seems to ggod to be true it likely is. If you do not care that it might be fake and you might be left haging, I say go for it...but, steer clear otherwise! Just mho...

What is with Federated turning everything into Macys? They''re talking about doing that to Marshall Fields in Chicago and if they do that, there is going to be backlash...too much history there to just up and change the name. Too much history and importance to the city.
Oh well, I dont really know the situation wtih the Saks & KoP mall, just passing on what my friend had said she found out. She could be wrong, I suppose nothing is official until it is announced. Wait & see....

I am not sure. I got the Cherry key holder, I was worried to carry a thing around covered in them. I got the Cherry blossom bag a long time ago, I am not sure they are even made any more...it is the one with the pink flowers. You can always check with LV in New York, but I know they retire some things, and other things start out being limited editions and then they make them part of the permanent collection if the response is good! Good luck finding one if you want it...

No! I have to check out my Saks and see it. Can you describe it? I am getting another Balenciaga in burgundy, and just spent a small fortune of my gown and suit for my son''s bat mitzvah. Plus I am doing a lot of home furnishing and things, so I felt it might be wise to take a break. I have avoided the Chanel boutique whenever I go there...too tempting. I am sure come Sept I will want to go in abd browse. I have so many bags that I do not wear, and then I use the same one so often because I am LAZY. The Chanel stuff is so crazy right now, the dollar stinks against the Euro...but I will still always buy European stuff, it is so gorgeous. I also love Jimmy Choo bags, and ordered a bag by Botkier from Neiman Marcus in metallic blush. It is a hobo, just saw the photo but I loved it! (Can always return it if it is awful...) I have a shoe and bag and make up habit along with the jewelry...I am such a girly girl!!!

Love that Gucci Twinkletoes! MMM both of those bags look fabulous! The new Gucci I bought also seems rather flat, but it actually fills out to hold quite a bit. I think the second one might suit you better as it would hold more. 5''11"??? I am jealous at my lowly 5''2". Very limiting on the kind of bags that don''t look ridiculous.

I smiled back and thought about ways to squish her like a bug!

my niece once told me (she was standing behind me and she was very young) that I have such a nice big, round, and again big ass! she put her hands around me and told everybody in the room that she couldn''t fit her arms around my butt.. hmmm gee thanks...
