Do you eat cheesecake? Enjoy cheesecake? I have found a vendor who will ship overnight and I have used her twice. I have sent cheesecakes (they come in various flavors) to my neighbors in Virginia and to my parents. (I sent my neighbors pumpkin for Thanksgiving and my parents German chocolate cake for their anniversary!) If you eat it, you do get a cake! Let me know by PM if you eat it and, if you do, what your address is. Then I will send you a list of flavors from which to choose. 10,000 is definitely a cake occasion!

Funny at Strm''s comments.....we all DID used to bicker back and forth and debate our points, but it was always in fun, and everyone took it that way. Even though many of us often disagreed, we all came to have quite a bit of respect for each other. I still chuckle when I think of Tiffany''s Friday''s and Jlim......and a few other colorful folks we''ve run across here.

You''ve really embodied what it means to be passionate about diamonds over the years here, and it''s been fun learning/sharing with you.

We are actually in Palm Springs at an amazing resort for some R&R this week....I got online this evening despite Greg's protests (logged in for work, but had to check PS too!), and saw this thread...oh my gosh! PS virtual money to spend? This is better than my birthday! Hmm....what about 20k posts?

I already sent profuse thanks to Leonid and Irina for the very generous offer, which of course is absolutely not necessary since PS is fun for me, but I'd be a FOOL to pass it up!! Free diamonds? Plus now Greg can't tell me that I should 'get paid' for the time I spend on here, $0.01 is something right??

Val, get ready....you're next gal!! And you started AFTER me...what is that post average looking like?!

In this case it has to be discounted about 50%, thus you are down to $75, there is a 25% of the original value registration fee ($37.50) and a 10% transaction fee ($15). Thus, should Leonid wish to exchange the current fair value of your nearly 1500 posts - you would get about $22.50.

Now, I''m willing to make a private deal on the side for your post count that would be a bit better than that, but since this is not a publically traded future market - I think it best if you PM me if interested.

We're actually at the Parker Palm Springs which is just divine. Honestly, we have come to PS before...come every few years, and this place just opened last fall and it's absolutely amazing. WE LOVE IT. It's off-season due to the heat, so there are hardly any guests here ,the staff is so attentive, the grounds are just beautiful, and it's geared towards relaxation and nothing else! It used to be the old Merv Griffin Resort but it was sold and revamped last year and they kept alot of the old charm and buildings but just kind of freshened things up. Love the old plantation shutters, low buildings, lush grounds, lots of bougainvallea (sp) growing over the buildings, amazing food...it's related to the Le Parker Meridian in NYC...we stayed there too and loved it as well. Definitely a few Parker fans here! The weather is pretty good, just about 100 so nothing too heart-stopping, the scenery in the evening is great with the San Jacinto mountains and the trees, so I am taking lots of pictures which I can share when we get back!
