Some perfumes really react with your skin''s natural oils and the resulting scent can be totally different to the original. I always spray new perfumes on in the store then allow them to ''settle'' for a couple of hours before making up my mind whether I like them or not. My b/f just got me Estee Lauder''s Pleasures - Exotic
for my birthday. He told me he searched through 25+ perfumes in the store comparing sample cards and then came across this one and just knew it was the one - just like when he saw me, awwww.
So I put it on and it has an opening of grapefruit which smelled really rancid and I was like ooooooh this is interesting. Two minutes later that note turned into something really lovely and I ended up really loving the scent on me.
His eyes roll in the back of his head when he smells it on me so I''m glad I gave it a chance.
