Got a Phillipe Starke Louis Ghost Chair... in lucite... arrived today... I'm sitting on it, its great, husband hates it. This will set back the tahitian pearl budget, but it had to be done.

I loooooove that chair. So contemporary yet so classic. So, tell me how you're going to use it?

oohh, you know.. thank you, thank you. I have wanted this for years.. right now its officially banned to my office in front of the West Elm white parson table desk, which is great .... BUT, I have plans to work into the living room, my husband has a thing about lucite... doesn't realize its become a design biggie... I'm doting on this chair, loving it! and its very sturdy and comfortable...

actually, i was sort of bad , went on a mini rampage..., nothing like the pearl rampage, but a small rampage - also snagged the Victoria Ghost for my closet...

I GOT A JOB!!! At the exact place I want, doing just what I want! I will get to be "me" again... and I will have tons of cash for my PS addiction now. However, I will no longer be a stay-at-home mom. I feel sad about it already, but family members are giving it to me sideways a little too. Like I was supposed to be a stay-at-home mom forever. That''s not what I wanted. I adore my babies and I will most definitely miss them, every day. I really don''t need any extra guilt.

It''s difficult for many to understand why I *want* to go to work when I don''t *need* to but it really isn''t any of your business moms + aunties + cousins + sisters.

That big long one where people were confessing their deep dark secrets? People only did that because they thought the thread would drop fast. Not that it would be up for a week! I''m sure someone could start a new one but people didn''t want that stuff up too long.

My two computers have crashed. My home desctop is working but can not connect to the printer. The cable of my office computer is broken. My camera is still working.

My new computer is here, although Y-2K in my house is definitely not over; first I could not sign myself into the mailbox, then my refrigerator crashed. Even my scissors fell apart! (How do you call these small creatures that live in the house and spoil everything for you - I do not mean children? Not gobelins, but somethng like it).
