She is with A husband. I remember hearing a while back that she was split/getting divorced. I'm not in the "know" enough to say if the current husband is the one she had or a new one..... Corey something I think his name was?

I need to go grocery shopping but I really don't want to. I can't even go now and take a lunch break because most of what I need is milk or meat. Trader Joes and Target will be closed by the time I get off work, which leaves the most expensive grocery store in town - maybe. I could have gone grocery shopping this morning except I didn't get to sleep until 3. LAME! All I want is real food.

When we bought wall mounts for our flat screen TVs, DH threw out the bases that came with the TVs because he never, ever thought we'd need them again. Typical man. Why the heck didn't he put them in the attic?? We've moved now and don't want to hang them on the wall as it's just a temporary move. And guess what? It's next to impossible to buy the stands that come with the TVs. The only one I've found thus far cost MORE than the stupid TV did. I could KILL him right now.

People who ride public transportation really need to learn how to COVER their mouths when their cough/sneeze.

Every day, I see people open mouth sneeze without making effort to cover their mouths. It's like one of those nasty cold medicine commercials, where you can picture the germs floating around...

So many gross noises and unecessary excretions going around this time of year. Eww!

Kama- Of course, doll. Super happy for you and your DH.

Princesss- You have such a great and compassionate heart. I love that I can call you friend. Your support, long distance or not is appreciated, trust me- He knows and I know that is comforting to him. It is funny how this type of situation plays out but the only advice I can give to you, having been in his shoes, is to be there as a friend that isn't there for that sole reason. Does that make sense? My friends would make me laugh and allow me to escape the reality and gravity of the situation when we spoke and only if I offered up the topic would we touch on it. Listen and love, that is all friends can do. Chin up, love. He is a lucky person to have someone like you supporting him after everything that has happened.

DF- Girl, I heard that. I have 2 or 3 fingers on one hand that will be TOTALLY frozen and the others are normal. WTH? my answer? Space heater. Holla.

I had a venti coffee today. I was 10 mins late to work because the line was so long at Starbucks, but you know what? Totally worth it and sometimes you just have to do what you have to do!

This. Plus, might I add- use some air freshener if it is there for use...I mean...come on....Smell=bad air freshener= fresh air....no brainer. Just sayin..

Air Freshener = allergic reaction in some cases.

I'm sorry, some air fresheners are like inhaling too strong cologne/perfume. Gross.

Thanks, ladies. He's in a rough place and it's hard to be *just* a friend - hard because I want to do more, but we've got to keep some emotional distance, too, because he recognizes it's not healthy for him to keep coming to me every time he wants to talk to somebody. At least he's home now and around his family/his good friends. Once he gets into the swing of things up there I think things will be a little easier - he'll have more people he can call when he's having a rough day. He should be moving in with one of his best friends in a few weeks, hopefully that will help.

Ugh. Okay. Happier thoughts.
