Nope move date says the same. So now I will around 90 days to figure out where we are moving either US (to another state) or overseas, get the kids enrolled in a daycare, see if I can keep my job (looking good), figure out how to ship our dogs (if going overseas), sell/ rent our current house, rent a house at desintation....oh vey I'm getting a migraine just thinking about all the checkmarks I will have to do. Still it will be SOOOOOO worth it if we go overseas again. I want to live in Europe BAD!

Will you be packing and moving all of your stuff or do you store it so it doesn't have to be shipped? (do you move back later?)

A colourful dispute with a notorious NYC vendor? And one Phoenix could have handled? My bet is it was Leon (who, for the record, was brilliant when I dealt with him).

We have a "sink hole" or possibly man made pond at the front of our property. It is about 4 feet deep, and all of the water from our land and the two neighboring properties flows to it. It is full. FULL. So I've decided to get floating hands to put in it for Halloween. :Up_to_something:

We got rain here again yesterday and we are supposed to have new bands of it coming in today.

My uncle was just found dead in his trailer. No idea what happened. Waiting for a call back from his sister. We weren't very close, but this is the second son my grandparents have lost in under two years.

Any positive thoughts you can spare for my grandparents are greatly appreciated.

Toopatient - I'm so sorry. I don't know how any parent ever handles loosing a child, no matter what age.
 
Update --

We don't know much at this point. He hadn't been seen for five days so a neighbor went to check on him and found his body. No signs of violence.

We'll have to wait for the doctors to know better what happened, but my family is pretty sure he just drank himself to death. He was an alcoholic so alcohol poisoning would not be hard to believe.

To make matters even worse, my other uncle's birthday was September 25. My grandparents, mom, and aunt had just been out to the cemetery to leave flowers on his grave. My feeling is that my uncle couldn't take the pain of his brother's birthday and just started drinking.

My grandmother has health issues that are worsened by stress. I'm very worried about her. She was having anxiety problems last night and I'm sure this was a shock to learn today. Last time, they had the doctor call in sedatives to help her through.

They buried their oldest son last summer and now they have to do it again with another child.

Both died under the age of 50.
 
So very, very sad. I'll be thinking of your whole family, your grandparent especially.
 
Just wanted to add my condolences TooPatient, so sorry for this loss... will be keeping your family, especially your grandparents, in my thoughts. big hugs.
 
Oh my! TooPatient - that is a terribly tragic series of events for your grandparents to have to endure... rather, for all of your family... please know you are in my thoughts and I hope you and your loved ones get thru this time as smoothly as possible. My prayers are with you.

Oh TP I'm so sorry for your family's loss! I can't imagine how painful it is to loose a child, and how much worse it is to loose 2 in 2 years. I'm sending dust and positive healing thoughts to you and yours.

I recently had an embryo transfer and went in for my pregnancy test today. When my doctor called with the results, she was so gloomy. I'm pregnant, but my hcg level is really low. I've already miscarried in the past, and I'm worried it's happening again. Please send some dust my way so this pregnancy sticks.

I have no experience with infertility (or fertility, for that matter), so I don't know the 'right' thing to say. I hope you can stay relaxed and comfortable.

Update on my uncle --
The medical people who were called to my uncle's trailer were told (by the neighbors?) of my grandparent's health (and loss of another son) and asked to be "gentle" when breaking the news. They called my grandparents on the phone! Grandma was home by herself when she was told by some random EMT that her son was dead :nono:
She has massive anxiety due to all sorts of health issues (now going into memory and mental function) that is made worse by stress.
She and Grandpa are doing a bit better as they have time to process everything, but the first day was super hard.
Not sure about memorial service or anything. It sounds like that has come down to his kids (23-28? -- maybe 24-28) to take care of? Will have to talk to my aunt as my brother's cell phone is a bit hard to hear.
 
TooPatient - That is horrible that the EMT's didn't take more time and go to them personally.

I'm thinking of you in this hard time.
