I need more dress opinions!!

itotally agree with everyone...the other dresses were ok, but the one you''ve chosen, seriously a knockout! i love the detailing, really accentuates you gorgeous figure! as far as photographing funny, i wouldn''t worry about it too much. i''m sure wedding photographers are aware of dress "shine" issues and adjust accordingly I''ve never seen professional wedding photos where the dress shine has detracted from it.

anyway...just one more time..I LOVE YOUR DRESS!!!!

I definitely think this is the dress for you! Is there any chance anyone whose real-life opinion you are craving could make a special trip to check this out before you would buy it? Maybe that would help you feel better about making such a final decision...that is, if the consensus (sp?) of all of us on here don''t convince you first!

#4 definitely out of what you posted on this thread.

i haven't seen your other thread but i did see you post #2. i really like that one too BUT the asymmetrical sash thing is throwing the eye off i think. if you made that a regular not asymm sash it might be more visually appealing. i like the dress itself but the sash might need some tweaks.

however #4 on this thread flatters your shape and makes you look the most slim.

WOOPS just saw i am kind of late since you already got something else. the new dress is very pretty, and i think it will be great if you do get more waist accentuating out of it because your figure is great. i still like dress #4 though!!

This dress has everything going right with it that I thought were wrong on the other ones..

The material looks "richer"

It's not doing anything weird on the waist area, yet makes your waist look small

And the neckline looks great. And to be honest, for some bizarro reason, the other dresses made you look short to me (could be the way you photographed yourself). That's why I asked your height, but you are obviously not short. This dress seems to flatter you nicely.

It just fits you. So you found the dress, IMHO.

Now, if you could chill out about your dress search, I'd greatly appreciate it.

ETA, just so you don't think I'm nuts (although you may already)...I forgot while looking at dress 1-4 that I was looking at it on my extended monitor and the ratio isn't perfect...makes a square asscher look like an east/west emerald cut. So you were looking wider than taller and hence the shortwaisted comment from before.

So I guess you should be happy to know that the new dress looks fab even though my monitor added about 25 pounds on you!!!

I''ve done that, but then I can''t see the print. My laptop res is fine...but I have my dell monitor a fair distance away from where I sit and my old eyes need extra help

Well. I haven''t been able to find that dress anywhere else in my size. So, I went back to the shop and tried it on again. I really just don''t like the fabric. I mean, I DO...it''s very light and airy....but I just like the reflectiveness of it. (If reflectiveness is even a word.) I attached a pic to show you what I mean.
Maggie makes the same dress is dupion silk, but it looks even MORE shiny in the picture.

For some reason, I keep going back to the previous Maggie (dress number 2 from the old thread...the limited edition with the lace overlay). It has the modified princess boob area that I like, it''s A-line, which I like, the train is the perfect length...and I liked the way it fit. The one complaint about the dress seemed to be the sash, so I''d obviously have to fix that.

I think I''m going to go dress shopping one more time, and if I don''t find anything I''m just going to get the first Maggie.
I''ve gone once since I posted this last dress that everyone liked. I found a couple of pretty ones that I would get in a heartbeat, but it''s hard to tell what they''d really look like on me since they were too small for me.

I think you''re wise to get the dress that you feel most comfortable in. If you are happy with the dress then it will show on your face on your wedding day. If you''re not liking something on it (like the shininess) then you shouldn''t get it because it will bug you no matter what everyone else says.

Dress #2 looks nice and if you''re happy with it, you should go for it!

I don''t have her rockin'' bod, but I still feel like it tucks me in in all the right places while still accentuating my curves. I LOVED IT. Right away....no questions about it....no regrets. I am 100% confident in my decision.
