How you met: Through a mutual friend when I was sixteen and he was seventeen. We dated for around three months then, but he was too shy and I desperately wanted to have my first kiss over and done with. So I patiently waited for three months, as patiently as a sixteen year old can, and then I gave up when he didn''t put "the moves" on me. Seven years later and a couple of horrid relationships between us we reconnected, again due to mutual friends, and on January 1, 2005 he dropped by my house to pick up something and we ended up on my front doorstep talking for six hours (9pm - 3am). We knew then that there was something special between us.
Expected engagement date: I really don''t know. We talk about getting married a lot, we talk about it with his parents, with my parents, and we look at rings together but I haven''t a clue.
Anything else you want to add?: It''s good to know that there are other women going through the same thing, sometimes I just want to go and buy him an engagement ring and propose already.

Expected engagement date: I think really soon. We already picked out the setting and diamond together. I am so glad I got to be a part of the ring shopping experience. It was so much fun! Michael B. is currently in the process of finishing up the ring. I am hoping by the end of this month. *fingers crossed* We are planning on an April 2007 wedding!
