Is this band overpowering? Should I stick with my band with smaller stones?

@diamondseeker2006 - I agree. When I got the smaller band from WF a couple of years ago, I thought it would be bigger but too lazy to return it. IDJ will make a band with 24 stones 5 points each. I think that should be good. My bigger band has 11 point stones and I feel they’re a little too big. Maybe if I had a 3 ct stone like @MamaBee :) , the 11 points would look more proportional.

Thank you.

I think it would look so pretty..but you have to be comfortable with it. I feel that way about my eternity band...so I definitely get it..

I may be the only weirdo in the group but it’s not even about less is more for me. It’s about proportion. I never like when either band sticks out on the side more than the other. Visually I guess it’s more about symmetry and balance. I just prefer things being flush and even. Obviously you can’t go wrong all of the rings are gorgeous and your hand can carry it off but if I’m being honest I prefer the smaller.

No, you're not. I agree with you :) Most important, whatever makes the wearer feel most beautiful and happy. I wear my e-ring (see avatar) with an eternity wedding band of marquis (set east-west) and rounds in platinum that matches the e-ring halo. I wear my (12) 25pt princess cut e-band on my right hand. I love it with either band! May I ask the size of the e-ring?

Hi all,

Is this 11 pointer-9 stone band overpowering to wear with my e-ring? Should I just stick with the band with the smaller stones?

Thanks so much!

It looks gorgeous with the larger band!

I like your e-ring best with the smaller band, but this from someone whose favorite color is taupe. The big band is so spectacular! Have you tried wearing it with the new 3-stone OEC?

I prefer the thinner band with your engagement ring, it doesn’t try to steal attention from your beautiful stone. However, the thicker band would be great to wear on it’s own!

Thank you @luckygreen317. Yes, I used to always just wear it as a RHR bur I’ve been wearing my 3 stone OEC instead so it’s just been sitting in my jewelry box.

Thank you, @Ibrakeforpossums. No. I think it’s too much together ;). Plus it’s MRB and OEC so didn’t think to mix old cuts with modern cuts.
