Dang !
I can never find the spoiler button
Its from Birmingham UK and it was just the primer the royal mail were using
i sold paint for many years
i dont think ive seen pink primmer since last century
Still gone? What a loss! So large you'd think you'd hear a thud if it fell.
@Ibrakeforpossums Thank you. Still gone - made all kinds of reports (to the park, the police, etc) and even combed the park three times. Maybe some happy magpie is enjoying it.
More peridot (this time with some aquas)
Another terrible photo
How about a common red umba garnet (paired with a non-rainbow colorless leuco garnet)
@Daisys and Diamonds - I admit, I love seeing your pretties - you've been holding out on us. Especially love the amethyst egg pendant and garnet earrings
God only knows. One person on this forum lost a necklace in her yard when she took it off to photograph it. Makes you wonder if there's a reason or force behind it.
Teeny tiny peridot in some dangles
this is part of an over priced and baddly designed range (the chain gets caught up and is almost impossible to untangle) by a NZ singer Boh Ringer (well i think she is a singer)
I have 2 matching brooches ill save for latter
@Autumn in New England saphire is my birth stone but i went through a stage of just loving peridot.- well i still do - green is my favourite colour
Winter sheets on the bed
very unsexy
Hmmm how about if this post counts for purple this round. @stracci2000 These may interest you!
I sourced and cut all of the gems (each is natural/no enhancement), and designed the cluster pendants. Navajo master silversmith Henry Yazzie did a beautiful job bringing them to life. I told you all I was obsessed with rainbows. These guys are a little over 3" long. I find it impossible to be glum while wearing one of these!
The left pendant is sugilite, Mediterranean coral, orange spiny oyster shell, calcite, chrysoprase, SB turquoise, and lapis in the middle.
The pastel version on the right is charoite, rhodonite, Japanese coral, yellow amber, variscite, gem silica, and dumortierite in the middle.
@AudreyC I thought I used yellow jadeite in one of these, but I was mistaken! Not sure what I used it in now...
Autumn in New England,
Thank you for this wonderful thread of beautiful and sometimes rare colored gems. You have a gift of getting people to share their images, maybe most remarkably with Daisys and Diamonds. Who knew she has such a stash?
Great fun, thank you so much.
This is a stunning piece. Do you know how old it is?
