I understand you on the busy life with two active young boys. Enjoy every minute of it, one day you wake up and wonder where the time went. These are the good times for your family live them to the fullest.

What an awesome thread!

Here's one of my favorites from last year - I went to visit my parents in Croatia, and they were generous enough to upgrade my plane ticket to LH First class.
This was taken in the bathroom (as in, "room with a bathtub") of the LH First class lounge in Frankfurt, right after I had taken a bubble bath. They even give you a special rubber ducky and play Marvin Gaye in the background! I was also contemplating getting a glass of Champagne to add to the experience, but it was something like 7:00 am local time and that's a little early even by my standards, lol.

I'll be 49 in August. Good age. I still think that's pretty young (compared to 79 haha). Seriously though people these days look much younger than their parents and grandparents did at our age as a generalization don't you think? I don't know what 49 is supposed to look like but you look good to me.

Since you work with beautiful birds, may I ask if you ever got to meet Morely Nelson out of Boise? He was world famous for his work with raptors and even instrumental in getting the Birds of Prey area started outside of Boise. He traveled all over the world working with many of the royalty in the Persian Gulf region back in the 50's and 60's and he and his sons did most of the Disney Films involving raptors back then.

He was a wonderful man and never said no when ever we would call him about bringing out of town guests to his house to see and appreciate his birds. I think a few of the neighbors may have been a bit cranky about missing cats from time to time but he swore his birds would never touch a cat. Not a good idea to raise pigeons around him though...

I beat ya out then..you are holding your own quite well too, Missy. On the plus side, wrinkles showcase the lives we lived and (hopefully) a little wisdom. I don't know what 49 is supposed to look like either...but I know some of the older "sisters" still hold their own. Sophia Loren gives us all something to hope for In my line of work (with homeless) I see many in their mid 30's that look well into their 50's because of drugs and alcohol and poor diets .
They say the face you have at 50 is the one you earned.
