Ah my ring is almost done

I am thrilled with how it looks. It still needs tweaking and polishing. There were supposed to be additional diamonds on the claws but they were concerned about damaging the aqua.

Just wanted to share. He is putting together some video footage for insta which I will share when I get it.

@CHRISTY-DANIELLE I kinda dig the rose gold all by its lonesome. Is a hexagon bezel-which would be smaller but still visually interesting out?

I'm ages away from this being a reality (way too much quara-shopping) but I did get my mitts on these benetoite for a DBTY type necklace and hopefully matching bezeled earrings (those are still in negotiations)

There are 6 2.5mm and then the 4ish. Debating even spacing or something more scattered. Forgive my hack job, I'd skip the fancy middle for a plain bezel.

For some reason, I'm gravitating toward the middle arrangement, but also prefer the left one to the right. I look forward to seeing your project when it's done.

Have you thought about pairing these benitoites with diamonds? For example, I can easily envision a DBTY arranged as D-B-D-B-D-B-D where D stands for white diamond, and B stands for the benitoites you have.

Or possibly D-P-B-D-P-B-P-D-B-P-D, where P stands for pink spinels. I think that throwing in other gems with high RI would make the benitoites look even lovelier than only having one color. Just a thought.

Oh hadn't even thought about that. I did see a variation with rounds and squares that was pretty, and realised they would have to be diamonds, since findings benes is a pain as is. I have the 4mm as a centerpiece but toyed with adding a diamond or something else next to it, I wish had a little pear. Thanks for the idea.

I'm doing yellow gold, possibly a white chain but my other all the time necklace is YG so trying to keep it consistent. I have loads of WG pendants and they just sort of clash. My rings are all platinum or WG but its yellow from the neck up. Plus I loved what Dan with the YG CA and benetoite for my cousin, though those were a graduated color set. I was going to just have him make me a similar one and then Brad produced boxes of perfectly identical larger stones (2, 2.5, 3) and all sense of reason Flew out the window.

He just put it in the mail to me.The price was excellent, everything came in at just under $230 The gem doesn't photograph accurately, it's a true red, not orange-red like it appears in the picture. I'm very pleased with the result, it will integrate easily with my CRD pieces..

Thanks, Christy-Danielle The shank is argentium silver and it's a brushed finish. I love bezels and really like Dan's work! I looked over his sold items carefully before purchasing anything and was very favorably impressed. The quality of his work and the reasonable price point is very attractive plus he's super nice and works quickly.

I'd like to give a shout out to the RareExotics shop on Etsy where I purchased the spinel. It's a smaller store, but the faceted gems are all really well cut and the prices are very fair. My spinel only cost $120 and sparkles beautifully in natural and artificial light despite being a darker colored gem.

My vote goes for the left one..somehow to me it has more energy Between the stations with the Top bezel corner pointed down. Lovely either way!

That should look wonderful with a grey spinel cluster, can't wait to see it!
