Absolutely perfect. I was (vaguely) looking for fancy intense or fancy vivid, but it seems that with the right cut, and a large stone, FY has quite a presence. A beautiful ring, congratulations! And happy for your son! And you have a lovely dog!

@Arkteia I had been looking in the fancy intense and fancy vivid also. The stone I got was kind of a FY+. It was noticeably more saturated than other FYs. The owner was sending it back to GIA for a re-grade but if it came back as FYI it would have been priced higher, probably out of my range. Leon felt that it was a very well cut stone, but probably a bit overpriced. I decided to go for it and I'm glad I d
